Chapter 42

Finally I had my wish... a day without drama

When Esme came to make sure my hand was fine, we had to stop fighting.

I don't know why but when Esme sees us fighting it really hurts her feelings to the degree that she once cried when Emmett knocked me down when we were kids.

we learnt our lesson that day and we avoided fighting in front of her and that's not an easy thing to do while growing up with four kids your same age and two of them are boy but Esme‘s tears were the only thing that could hurt any of us deeply.

Lousia excused herself to go back to her parents because it was getting late and Natalie offered to accompany her so Mr. Pussy went with them too.

That left the Cullen family to themselves so we went back in the house

Emmett was still shooting me glares for losing the match.

Esme was trying without any progress to not check my hand every 2 minutes as if it will magically explode at any time.

Alice was trying hard to hide her smirk but as well, failed, as expected.

Jasper and Rosalie were talking about a new car in the market.

Bella was... Well all she was doing was blushing. I don't know what she was thinking making her blush that hard but every time she glance in my direction she would blush then look away then do the same again.

I wanted to ask her what's wrong but I was suppose to be talking to Esme right now. I mean she's talking to me and I should be listening but all I was doing was nodding

The name of Bella coming out of my mother‘s mouth made me listen to whatever she was saying and the next words made me literally fall out of my seat and choke on my own saliva.

“Bella is pregnant“ These were her words.

“What?“ Rosalie screamed. So I wasn't actually imagining the words.

My wide eyes drifted to Bella and she had the same shocked expression, if not more than me.

“I am?“ She asked Esme as if Esme is the one who is suppose to know.

The next thing made me frown, Esme laughed out loud and held her stomach.

“You are pregnant? That fast? Wow!“ the stupid Alice exclaimed.

“That fast? What do you mean by that fast?“ Emmett asked dumbfuly.

“Edwaaaaaaaard?“ Jasper asked with a proud and satisfied grin that I would like so much to slap it off of his face.

“Would you shut the fuck up now?“ I exclaimed.

“I'm not pregnant? Really, I'm not. right?“ Bella‘s words were directed to me.

How fucking stupid of me. of course she's not. she is on her pills. She can't be pregnant.

I slapped my forehead with my palm.

“Mom!“ I groaned but she was laughing hysterically.

“Y-Yo-Your... faces“ She managed to chock out.

“Edward?“ Bella asked again.

“She's joking“ I said as I throw my head backward and groaned

“You had sex with her!“ Emmett yelled pointing at me.

Bella stood up from her seat and held her index up “I will just go to my room and die out of embarrassment.“ I said in a monotone

“He did what?“ A very angry Jake growled.

I knew it was too real to be true. My day can't pass without  some drama.
