Chapter 9 - Almost Kiss

Nadine's POV

" Hindi naman mawawala ang kapatid mo.. She will just get married. She will not stop being your sister because she will forever be your sister. " Dahil sa madramang sinabi niya ay mas naging emosyonal pa ako kaya tinakpan ko ng isang kamay ang muka ko.

" Haha- Ewan ko.. Nababaliw lang yata ako. " I said while laughing bitterly. Inayos ni James ang magulo kong buhok na tumatakip sa muka ko para sakin.

" Ikaw.. " Pinunasan ko na ang mga luha ko.

" Kaya mo ba akong mahalin.. Forever? " I playfully moved my face closer to his so he grabbed my face. I can't barely open my eyes.

" Not forever.. " He whispered.

" O-okay.. Sanay ako. " Ouch. I felt a pinch in the heart.

" But forever.. And ever.. And ever.. And ever. " He continued. (*.*)

" Sus. " Inirapan ko siya. Aray. Parang naduling ako sa ginawa ko ah.

We just stared at each other for awhile.. Feeling each others heartbeats despite the loud noises in this room.

I looked at his eyes..

Then to his lips..

Then back to his eyes.. He's staring at my lips. Then I found out that he was moving closer to me.

Closer..

Closer..

And closer..

He was about to close the tiny gap between us when everything went black. Zzz.

Nadine's POV

" What.. " James opened the door while carrying me, bridal style. I didn't care.

" Babablack sheep- " I hummed and heared him laughed a little. We are now walking towards his car a few yards away.. I guess.

" James? " I touched the tip of his nose.

" Yes? " Umiwas siya sa daliri ko. Psh. Wie. Wie.

" Am I heavy? " I asked with a baby face.

" No, you're perfect. " Natawa ako. Ako? Perfect? Hay.

" Oh please.. I'm not perfect. " Huminga ako ng malalim.

" Well.. You're perfect to me. " He opened the door for me and sat me down on the front seat. Nakita ko siyang umikot papunta sa kabilang pinto at pumasok.

" Here you go. " Maski malabo, I saw him buckled the seatbelts for me. Grabe. Ganito pala no. Kusang sumasara mga mata ko. Inaantok na talaga ako.

Nang makarating na kami sa apartment ko ay pinagbuksan na niya ako ng pinto.
Bubuhatin nanaman sana niya ako nang pigilan ko siya. " I can manage. ".

" If you say so. " I tried my best to walk despite of my wiggling knees.
Kaya ko to no! Tatlong hakbang ko palang ay nahulog na ako sa sahig. Kita!?

" Ouuuuch. " I whispered while lying down on the floor. Muka siguro akong ewan ngayon, nakabulagta sa sahig. Pakiramdam ko isa akong sirena..

" Shit. " James helped me up and walked me towards the door.

" Stop it, you're not a fish, Kaila. " Tip of advice niya.

" Wow. As in, words of wisdom. Ako nalang ang aakyat. Salamat. " Nakapikit na sabi ko sakanya. Nakakahiya na, ako nalang aakyat mag-isa.

" I don't wanna let you sleep in the hallway. " Nakangiting sabi niya sakin.

" What? " Ano daw?

" I said *sigh* hahatid na kita. "

" Eh- pero- pero- Okay. " Hay nako, Nadine. Pakipot pa!?
