Ch.4 Can You See it Too?

"Hello Light" I said in a slightly annoyed voice.

"I'm guessing you guys are going to Space Land? Nice, us too." he said flashing a smile. He looked around the stop at each person almost as if he were counting heads. "Hey, maybe we could go on a couple rides together. He said almost too sincerely.

"No we're good, thanks!" I said trying to fake my niceness. 

Touka looked at me wide-eyes and mouthed "Be nice"

"Eh hem"

"Oh (Y/N) this is my date." Light said, introducing me to a beautiful, dark haired girl.

"Hi, I'm (Y/N)", I said bowing and smiling.

The woman shot me a quick smile and tugged Light's arm away from Touka and I. Light walked away with his date.

"Okayyy." Touka said, confused. She turned to me. "Isn't that the guy you gave the speech with?"

"Yeah," I said rolling my eyes.

"He's kinda cute," she said, wiggling her eyebrows.

I paused and looked at her for a moment angrily and turned my head. "No."

"I'm just saying, smart AND cute, I meannnn" she said nudging me as we walked into the bus.

"Where should we sit?" I asked.

She pointed to the back of the bus, "There." she replied.

We sat in our seats waiting for the bus to take off. I look up to see Light and the dark-haired girl sit right across from us. Light leaned across the aisle.

"Hey bus buddies! Just like old times, huh?" he snarked. I rolled my eyes as he chuckled.

"Damn forget about Light." Touka whispered suddenly.

"Huh?" I whispered, turning to her.

"Look at that man. I mean WOW" she said moving her head in the direction of the seat behind Light.

I turned to look. There was a tall, muscular man with black hair in a suit sitting down.

"Damn." I said nodding. "You right." I said laughing.

She laughed and handed me a snack from her bag. Finally the bus took off. I stared out the window taking in the view. Even the streets of Japan were beautiful.

About 20 minutes into the trip I could see the bus approaching the next bus stop. A man stood there alone. I didn't know him but for some reason he looked so familiar. I stared at him, puzzled. The expression on his face was one I had seen before. He looked. Evil. The man walks on the bus, stopping for a brief second before reaching in his pocket.

"Uh..Touka" I said shakily, still analyzing the guy.

Suddenly he pulls out a gun.

"Stay in your seats unless you want to die!" The guy screams.

'What the f*ck. A bus-jacking, are you serious.'

I look around the room to see if there's anything we can defend ourselves with. I look over and see Light holding his date's hand while she's shaking. But for some reason, he seems... calm?

The guy holds the gun to the bus driver's head and demands he calls Space Land.

"Have a female worker bring out all the money from SpaceLand over the weekend, and don't try anything funny or I swear! I'll kill all of these people!" he says slamming the phone on the ground and stepping on it after.
