With a sigh I leaned my elbows on the counter in our little store. It was dead quiet and outside it was raining. Awesome, that meant that we would probably have no customers whatsoever today. I walked to the back to turn on a new CD. I loved me some Taylor Swift.
"Do you have too!?" The voice of my long term best friend Taylor came from the office.
"Yes, You know I love your music Taylor" I laughed. She hatted sharing the same name as my favorite singer.
"I hate you!" She sang. I heard her get up and walk into the store. I walked back to the counter and sat on top of it.
"Come on. She is the best" I laughed happily moving my legs back and forth. Taylor leaned t the counter next to me and sighed. "It will be a boring day" She muttered.
"Yes it will" I agreed.
"Hey... what is that" Taylor pointed out a bruise on my left arm.
"Oh nothing, you know how clumsy I get" I said with a shrug. She raised her eyebrows taking my arms.
"You are really clumsy these days" She told me and let go again.
"I know" I agreed and giggled.

"I will get us some tea. Maybe we can sneak in some costume work" Taylor suggested and moved her eyebrows up and down. "Yes please!" I nodded.
It was almost time for Halloween and our little god forsaken town always had a huge Halloween party. And with me and Taylor being the most creative people in town we always made our own costumes. This time we made ourselves sexy princess costumes. My husband would be dressed as my prince... or well if he could come.
He had been giving me a hard time about the party. He thought it was childish to dress up. But come on. I was twenty-two, not fourthy!

When she walked away I jumped of the counter and walked around to look at the Halloween display. If people came in to buy stuff it was for Halloween. I knelled down and started counting the masks when the bell of the door rang as it opened. I had been so engaged it almost gave me a heart attack and I fell flat on my ass.
"I just stepped in and you are falling for me already?"
I turned my head and recognized the man in front of me immediately.
"Seth!? What the hell are you doing here?" I exclaimed. He reached out his hand to me and helped me up.
"Moving back to my home town gorgeous" He laughed pulling me into a hug.
"Gosh let me look at you. Pretty as always" He held me at arm length from him and checked me out.
"You know I am married right" I laughed. To be completely honest. I kinda didn't mind his flirts. He had always been like this.
His sapphire blue eyes locked with mine and he licked his lower lip. "I do" He just commented.
"It's unfair that you got even more beautiful" He said in a low voice taking one off my brown curls and twisting it around his finger.
I was to mesmerized by his eyes to realize this was not the way a married woman should look at a man. Had his eyes always been this blue? And then there was this new found scruffy beard-ish thing about his face. It was enough to make every girl get weak in the knees.

A cough broke our eye contact and Taylor stood just a few feet away with her hands on her hips.
"Seth Bentley! How dare you flirt with married ladies" She scolded him.
Seth laughed and walked up to her. This gave me time to calm my heartbeat down and take a deep breath. I was sure I was blushing like crazy.
"A little flirting can do no harm" Seth chuckled and gave me a quick wink.
This was seriously not good! I was married. I should not respond to an old friend like that.
That was all Seth had ever been. A friend, he had been just as old as my husband Andrew. A part of his friend group.
The only difference was that he had plans, travel the world after school. Not like Andrew who started working for his father right after.
A year later when I graduated he asked me to marry him. And I couldn't do anything but say yes of course.

"Now mister Bentley. I heard you were moving so stop wasting your time here and get your ass moving!" Taylor ordered him. Making Seth laugh again. He had this booming laugh. You couldn't help but smile yourself when he laughed.
"Yeah pretty ladies." Said walking backwards to the door.
"See you later my dear" He pointed at me with another wink. I had no idea what he meant. It wasn't like I agreed on meeting him later.
"No you wont!" Taylor answered before me and went to try and give him a kick.
"Yes I will" He laughed running to leave the store leaving us by ourselves.

"You" Taylor pointed at me with a stern look on her face "Should stay away from him. He is one big flirt!"
"What... gosh I am not interested don't worry!" I told her crossing my arms over my chest.
"I am married!"
"Yeah" She muttered like she didn't take me serious whatsoever.
"Taylor! How dare you! I will never cheat on my husband!"
