Andrew did get locked up.
For one day before his family posted his bail and got him out pending the trial. To say this stressed me out was an understatement. I was practically terrified. He couldn't come near me of course but still. What if he would. Most people in town believed him and not this girl with no parents and with to many painkillers in het system.

I did tell the doctors everything and Seth was by me every moment. I could see how hard it was on him. I knew he would kill Andrew if he could. He got me a lawyer as well. I really didn't like him paying everything and told him I would pay everything back. Andrew had frozen all the accounts and refused to give me anything.

A month passed with loads of paperwork but no divorce and no trial. It was set in 2 weeks. The stress did nothing good for me or the baby that was growing, just a little slow. The painkillers had everything to do with that.

"You coming for a walk Em?" Taylor dropped by every day and tried to get me moving. I didn't want to. I moved in with Seth, right across my old home. Andrew had put it up for sale and threw away all of my things. He was living with his parents.
"No, I am tired" I muttered stubbornly. Going out was horrible with everybody looking at me like I was the bad guy.
"Come on! Lets get a cup of coffee. My mom wants to see you at the shop. She has something for you" Taylor begged. I knew Seth put her up to this. He tried to get me out more often too. He was working in his office upstairs. He usually worked from home. He refused to leave me.

"You should go"
Speak of the devil.... He showed up in the doorway and looked at me. "It's good for you and our little munchkin" he pointed at my growing stomach.
I bit my lip... We could only find out if it was really his after it was born. I was scared it wouldn't be and I would have to share custody with Andrews parents. Andrew would hopefully  be in jail but they already let us know they would fight for their grand child. It had been a horrible phone call.

"I am tired" I covered my belly with my arms as if it would disappear like that. Like it would take away all these problems.
Both Taylor and Seth sighed simultaneously. "We both know that is a lie. Now come on!" Taylor told me and pulled me up. "Spring is coming and I know you love spring!"
I groaned rolling my eyes making Seth chuckle. "You look like you did in school when you do that" he admitted walking toward me and wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close.
"It's adorable you know" he told me kissing my forehead, nose and lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned my head on his chest. "I don't wanna go"
"I know, as soon as it's over we will leave this place Em, but for now you have to show that you are strong and that Andrew isn't controlling your life anymore."
I knew he was right... That didn't mean I agreed.
"Yes... Okay now we have that out of the way, let's go!" Taylor urged me being done with al the cute kissing stuff.
Seth grinned and kissed me again. "Come on, go. You will be fine"

Fifteen minutes later we pulled up at the craft store. I really didn't want to get out but eventually did. I couldn't really stay in this car right.
Once in the store Taylors mother came up to me right away. "Oh my dear. I am so sorry!" She said giving me a big bear hug. She was a big lady. Taylor had her eyes and long blond hair.
I smiled a little "it's alright" I muttered. She had called me several times and send a dozen of cards. "No it's not! I should have been listening to my daughter! Its not right at all"
She gave Taylor an apologetic look and directed herself at me. "I made you something" she said with a smile and walked to the back of the store.

When she came back she had a package in her arms. It contained a knitted baby blanket in soft pastels.
"Oh its beautiful" I whisperded in awe. It was super soft and I hugged Taylors mother to thank her.

"Oh look, if its not the little cheater" I turned around to see Andrews mother joined by one of our old friends, Becky. Both looked at me like I was something dirty.
I sighed. This was exactly why I didn't want to leave the house. "Oh fuck of! Could you go somewhere else!" Taylor told them. Becky raised her eyebrows. "This is a free country" she eyed my stomach. "You know he will get his baby back right" she told me.
Suddenly I was furious. How did she dare! She knew nothing!
"Becky, please shut your mouth about stuff you know nothing about. "He will not get his hands on this baby if it's my choice. It will not go through all the shit he put me though!" I hissed at her putting my hands on my hips.
"And it's not his!"

"Says who? I recall you being married to my son... Still are. What you are doing now with that other man is wrong!" Andrews mom now started.
"Says me, and he knows it! He always used condoms. He didn't want a baby. So he will not have one! I don't care who's it is but he will never put his hands on it!" I was breathing heavily now and ready to slap both Becky and Andrews mother. These were horrible people and I couldn't wait to get out of this town!
