Sparks Fly [Completed]

18. weeks later

I didn't leave with Seth. How could I, he had a girlfriend. A gorgeous blond girl who worked as a business lady for a huge company. I was nothing compared to her! Andrew met her at the airport. He knew who she was... nobody had bothered to tell me Seth was in a relationship. Not even himself. 
He tried to talk to me later but I was to hurt to listen to his pleading. He should have been honest. He would have never been able to take me away. He probably would have left me in some motel to be with his gorgeous and successful girlfriend when he was fed up with me.

Weeks passed by and I just continued with life. It wasn't as good as before. I still hardly spoke with Taylor. Work turned into torture because I wanted to tell her everything but every time I talked she gave me the cold shoulder. 
Andrew had been nice, as long as I listened. Did what he told me to and didn't argue him I was fine. Unless he was drunk or just in a bad mood. He would call me horrible names, push me around. The worst now was the sex, He was so rough and senseless. He never noticed he was hurting me. I couldn't refuse him all of a sudden but since I had been with Seth everything had changed. I hadn't seen him since that night Andrew came home and didn't speak to him either. I have no idea if he called me because I blocked and deleted his number. 

I sighed looking at the clock. I was at the doctor who had ran some blood tests for me. I had been seriously tired lately and been feeling faint. I guessed maybe I had anemia so I went to the doctor to get it checked out. He said my complaints lined up with Anemia but wanted to take a test to be sure. Usually people got a call for these things but I dropped by because it was on the way to work anyways. 
I had texted Taylor I would be a little late. She responded with a simple -Ok- 

"Emily? Yes come along the doctor can see you now" The assistant smiled at me and gestured me to go to the doctors. I got up and walked into the office where the doctor smiled at me. "Good to see you again Emily. Sit down please." The doctor was a woman in her forty's. She was really kind and always friendly. 
"I saw in your records you had a concussion not to long ago. How did that heal?" She asked looking through my files. 
"Fine" I responded. "It wasn't all to bad" 
The lady nodded as she scanned another paper. "Well I have some news for you. You don't have anemia" 
I frowned. I was kind of surprised, If it wasn't that what could it be then. 
"You are pregnant Emily... congratulations" 

I had no idea how I got from the doctors to work. On and on her words repeated in my head. Pregnant... 7 weeks according to my last period as the doctor told me. I felt sick. I couldn't be pregnant. Okay yes I could. Because with Seth... let's say we didn't really use protection. But I used birth control. Okay I forgot it now and then. But it had to be Seth's... we didn't use a condom and Andrew always did. He didn't want a baby... He would kill me. 

"Em, is everything alright?" Taylor looked up from the counter when I entered the store. I didn't even hear her. I was still too shocked. 
"Emily!" She called out my name louder and came up to me. "Em, what's wrong?" 
"I... I am pregnant" I whispered. I didn't notice I was crying. 
"Pregnant?! Em... that's wonderful. Isn't it? I mean you wanted to right... or... Oh no" She also knew that Andrew didn't want a baby. 
"Oh Em" She whispered wrapping her arms around me. "It will be okay... sometimes, I mean maybe you will have a..." She fell silent. She didn't want to say that word. I didn't want either. I didn't want to miscarry Seth's baby. I was to scared too tell Taylor it was his. I couldn't tell anybody. 
"It will be okay Em, you can come stay with me or we could leave... let's leave together. I am done with this small town anyway." 
she was holding on to my shoulders and smiling through her own tears. Why was she crying? 
"I am so sorry Em" She whispered. "I never meant to treat you like this... I just. I just hate you being with him. I wished you would leave him. You deserve better!" 
I bit my lip I knew she was right. Now I did, and still I felt like I was stuck. 
"I am sorry too" I started "I should have never said that, that thing." I Admitted. 
Taylor just shrugged. "It's alright. I know I have been single forever. I am fine with it. I just haven't found the one yet." She grinned and hugged me again. 
"Promise me we will leave this shit hole? Please?" She begged me. 
I nodded "Yeah... we will" I agreed and smiled. 
If I wasn't leaving with Seth I would leave with Taylor!
