32. At the hospital again

Soon enough the house flooded with people. You could hardly ignore 2 gunshots and of course the neighbors heard. The police and an ambulance were called.
I was in shock and couldn't talk. I think Seth was the same but he was still holding me and telling me we would be perfectly fine. I didn't believe him, how could I, he was bleeding severely and my stomach started to hurt big time.

"Let me help" one of our neighbors said helping me up from the floor while somebody else did the same for Seth. I cried in pain "Something is wrong" I couldn't even stand up straight being in so much pain.
Seth was already pale but got even more pale now. He pushed the man helping him of and got to me.
"Calm down Emily... It's over, nobody can hurt you anymore. Or the baby, you have to calm down!"
I couldn't calm down because another sharp pain shot through my stomach making me crumple and yelp in pain.

He brought me to the couch were he pulled me onto his lap wrapping his arms around me. "Breathe Em, please, we will not loose our baby." I hid my face in his chest and tried to calm down. I really did. "We will move away... I have already found us a beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood with a forest in our back garden." He whispered in my hair. "We will be just fine. And I will marry you... If you want me too"
I hardly realized he was just asking me to marry him. This was definitely not the right place or time but still I looked up at him "I want too" I muttered before another sharp pain made me cringe again. I could see the fear and panic in his eyes. He hated seeing me in pain and really didn't seem to care about his own pain.

He kept whispering to me about our future until the ambulance arrived. He refused any help until they helped me so I got to go with the first ambulance while he was taken into the second one that arrived only minutes later. I was rushed to the hospital while they gave me drugs to calm down. These caused me to doze off and I came to in a hospital bed.

Before I could start panicking again Taylor rushed to my side grabbing my hands. "Don't panic!" She told me right away. 
"You are fine, the baby is fine and Seth is too. But you have to keep your calm if you want your baby to stay were it is" she told me with a stern but pale face. I could see she had been crying.
I tried to talk but my voice was still kind of gone. "No need to talk... Just stay calm. I will get a nurse" she gave me a small smile and left the room.
I swallowed, stay calm? Easier said then done. But what she told me did relieve me a little. My baby was fine and Seth was fine. If I wanted my baby to stay fine I had to stay calm so I took deep breath's trying really hard to keep myself calm.

"Emily, good to see you awake. How do you feel?" A nurse walked in with a smile on her face followed by Taylor. I opened my mouth to talk but she shook her head. "No need to talk. Just nod if you are alright" I saw Taylor frown behind her. I knew why... Why would she ask me such a question if I could only nod. But I did so she smiled.
"Good, your baby seems to be in good shape but you are on bed rest from now on. This is better for you and the baby for now"
I was seriously relieved to hear this. Bed rest, I could handle that. Now my next worry was Seth. I looked at Taylor who understood right away. "How is Seth?" She asked "He was with her"
The nurse frowned a little "which one was he?" She asked giving me a careful look. My heart rate shot op right away. There was something wrong!
"The big guy... He was shot in the shoulder!" Taylor said getting to my side again. "Calm down! Right now. He is fine!"
"Oh yes, he just came out of surgery, he is recovering. The other man... He didn't make it"

I couldn't believe what the girl just said... Andrew was dead? I killed somebody. I starred blankly ahead. Now I would have to go to jail... I was a murder. "Miss, you have to calm down" I could hear the nurse say but it seemed so far away. "How the hell can she calm down with you being so stupid!" Taylor snapped.
The nurse came to the side of my bed and adjusted something on my IV making me feel drowsy soon after. "I will be back with the doctor later" she said sounding a little insecure and left.

"Stupid bitch!" Muttered Taylor sitting on the side of my bed. "Go and sleep Em, all will be fine"
