"Kay," I called into the quiet home.
I glance at my watch, Hermione and the others were all coming for her birthday gathering I planned all summer with Hermione and the boys. She hasn't came out of her room since we've returned and I was worried. I saw Stacy, our house-elf walking out of Kiana's room with tears falling from her face.
"Stacy," I said softly.
The elf's eyes met mine and she sniffled.
"Yes Master," She asked.
"Stacy, you don't need to call us master," I chuckled.
Stacy froze. She shook her head.
"Something is wrong with Master Kiana, she's not herself," Stacy whispered and walked away.
The doorbell went off. I push what Stacy said aside and went to open the door. Lucas, Jace and Ernie were outside with gifts in their hands. Their smiles drop when they see my face. I walk outside and close the door behind me.
"What's the matter," Lucas asked.
"Is Kiana okay," Jace asked.
"Something is going on with Kay, she spent almost all summer at the Malfoy's and I'm afraid they've tainted her with their Pure Blood insanity," I whispered.
Jace's eyes widened.
"I hope not, If diverse Kiana pushed me down the stairs imagine what Pure-Blood Kiana will do," Jace said solemnly.
"She wouldn't hurt you," Ernie said.
His worried eyes met mine.
"Would she," Ernie asked.
I shook my head.
"Maybe, just maybe, Hermione will make her feel better," I said.
The boys shrugged.
"Well, maybe this party will make her feel better," Lucas sighed.
We all went inside and I saw Kiana in the kitchen writing in a black book. Her face looked pale, her eyes restless, and her hair a mess.
"She lives," Lucas joked.
Her cold eyes met ours and at that moment I didn't know who she was. She looked back down at her book and continued to write and write. Not even looking at us.
"Master Kiana," Stacy trembled. "Here's your birthday cake."
"When did Stacy start calling her Master Kiana," Lucas whispered in my ear.
Then all of a sudden there was a crack. The cake was on the floor and my sister wore a smirk on her face.
"Well. Clean it up elf," she sneered.
"Yes, Master," Stacy sniffled.
"Merlin, you're worst than Dobby," she snickered.
