Kiana

"Just take your bloody book back," I said.

I threw the book back to Draco and went back home. That book switched something dark inside of me. It scared the hell out of me. I scared myself.

"Master Kiana," Stacy whimpered.

"Stacy I I don't know what was wrong with me I am so sorry," I cried.

I stepped out of the fireplace and looked around at the decorations. I looked down at the boxed gifts and saw Jace's name on one of them. Guilt crept inside of me. I immediately ran to his Manor and rapidly hit his front door with my fist. The door swung open revealing a red eye Jace.

"Oh its you," he sneered.

The way he said it made me want to kill myself. So I did something very unexpected. I wrap my arms around his waist and cried. He tensed at my touch but pulled me in for a hug.

"I am so sorry, I I didn't mean it," I cried. "It was that bloody book Draco gave me I I didn't mean it. You know I'm not like that."

"Of course I know you're not like that," Jace said. "I I can take it from anyone else but not from someone I care about."

I held onto him tighter.

"Happy Birthday Kay," Jace smiled. "I'll let Cedric know you're here."

I froze.

"No don't," I said. "Can I just sleep over? I don't want to face him right now."

Jace nodded. He held my hand in his and led me inside. We went up to his bedroom and we sat. I noticed his Hogwarts letter on the desk.

"Why all the Lockhart books," I asked.

Jace scoffed.

"Please don't tell me you're a fan of his work," Jace said.

I laughed.

"Only a deranged person would want to be his fan," I snickered.

"My mum's not deranged," Jace chuckled.

He then looked deep in thought.

"Maybe she is," Jace said.

The two of us broke out in laughter. I'm glad he forgave me.

"So this bloody book, what'd you do with it," Jace asked.

"I gave it back to its owner," I said.

Jace laughed.

"Then what," Jace asked.

"Then I went back home, saw your gift on the table and remembered what I said to you I ran here and here we are," I smiled.

"How did it feel? The book," Jace asked.

"It felt like I was in some sort of a trance. Like something was in charge of me. Or someone," I admitted.
