Kiana Diggory

the night before

"Harry, Ron," I squealed as he and Ron entered the empty common room.

"Kay, it's so good to see your face again," Harry smiled. "Where's Jake and Hermione?"

"Jake is coming down soon, Ginny got into Gryffindor and Hermione is in the dorm room. She's disappointed in the two of you. I on the other hand need to know what happened," I smiled.

"Well, the gateway to the express had sealed itself before the train was even going to leave. Ron had the idea that we should fly the car and follow the train, well we did find the train and well we were a little behind. So we crashed into the Whomping Willow and the tree hit the car, then it went mental and drove into the Forbidden Forest, and we were seen by seven muggles," Harry explained.

"Seven?!? And they still hadn't expelled you," I asked.

They shook their heads.

"Good," I smiled. "Thought I'd be alone this year without you two," I chuckled.

The boys furrowed their eyebrows.

"Guys," Jake chuckled and pulled the boys in for a hug.

"I'm going to bed. Goodnight," I said quickly and ran up to the dorm room.

"You should have scolded them," Hermione hissed.

"No offense Hermione but I'm not you, I don't like taking the fun out of everything. Just be glad that they're safe," I hissed.

Hermione shut her mouth and went to sleep.

"Goodnight Ginny," I said softly.

"Goodnight Kiana," she replied.

I fell sound asleep.

"Morning Kiana," Niall smiled as he walked by.

"Morning Niall," I blushed.

"Good morning Kiana," Zayn winked as he walked by.

"Morning Zayn," I smiled.

"Good morning Kiana," Harry smirked and winked.

Gosh. They're cute.

"Good," I began.

"Yeah. Yeah, good morning boys flirting with my best friend," Harry hissed.

The boys rolled their eyes and waved good bye. They sat near Cedric and the others. Hermione sat besides me and I tensed up a little.

"Morning," she said in a disapproving tone.

"Morning," the boys replied awkwardly.

I scooted away a little ending up besides Neville.

"Good morning Kay," Neville smiled brightly picking up my mood.

"Morning Neville, how's it going," I asked.

"Great, Mail's due any minute I think Gran's sending a few things I forgot," Neville said shyly.

"It's okay Neville, even I forget things," I lied.

It's Neville. I like making Neville feel good, he's always being picked on and I want to be a good friend.

"Wish you would forget things and let them go," Hermione muttered under her breath.

"What did you say Hermione, I didn't hear you," I hissed.

Hermione rolled her eyes and smiled as Cedric placed a kiss on her lips. I rolled my eyes and uncomfortably shifted in my seat.
