Kiana Diggory
I'd like to say I felt better within the days I've been in the Burrow, but I didn't. I felt guilty of saying that to Cedric. I haven't heard from him or the others either and I worried about him. I know how Cedric is when he's hurt - it isn't pretty. I grabbed my phone from the dresser and dialed his number. Cedric immediately answered.
"Hello," He said weakly.
"Ced Cedric," I stutter.
"Kiana," He said.
"Are you okay," I asked.
It grew silent between us.
"Okay, as long as I know you're alive," I began.
"I'm going to Diagon Alley now I'll call you later," Cedric said.
"I'll see you there," I sighed.
I didn't wait for a reply, I hung up. I stood up from where I sat and joined the Weasley family and Harry downstairs. Molly pulled me in for a side hug and she sent me a smile.
"Are you ready," Molly asked.
I sent her a small smile and nodded. I'll admit I was a little nervous to see Cedric again.
"Alright, we will be traveling by floo powder," Molly said.
I nodded.
"You can go first dear, your parents will meet you at Gringotts," Arthur said.
I grabbed a handful of powder and stepped into the fireplace. My eyes locked with Harry's and he smiled.
"Diagon Alley," I said.
The green flames engulfed me and I was now standing in the crowded streets of Diagon Alley. I started to walk to Gringotts and I saw him. I saw my big brother, surrounded by his friends and mum and dad. I could almost hear my heart beat in my chest. Lucas was the first to notice me. His smile grew wider and he ran towards me with open arms. He pulled me in for a tight hug and spun me around.
"Nice to see you to," I chuckled.
"He's missed you," Lucas whispered.
Lucas lifted me over his head and placed me on his shoulders.
"You know I'm 12 right, I'm not exactly light anymore," I chuckled.
"You're still my little sister," Lucas gasped. "You're as light as a feather."
I flicked his ear as he walked towards Cedric and the others. He set me down and I was wrapped in a hug by Jace and Ernie.
"Thank Merlin you're okay," they sighed.
I giggled.
"I can handle myself," I chuckled.
"Hey Kay," Mum and Dad said.
We all awkwardly stood there. Cedric cleared his throat.
"I'll follow you into Gringotts," Cedric said.
I sent him a small nod and we walked inside the bank. We showed the goblin our keys and then we went inside. We climbed inside this cart thing again.
"How are you," Cedric asked.
"Fine. You," I asked.
"Fine." Cedric said.
It grew silent between us.
"I'm sorry," we said in unison.
The two of us looked at each other and Cedric immediately pulls me in for a hug. I smile. The cart jerks to a stop and Cedric protectively held me as he places a hand on the railing. My head bumped his and we winced in pain.
