Kiana

"How'd it go," Hermione asked as I entered the common room.

I sighed and flopped onto the couch.

"He's not talking to me, apparently me understanding snakes is evil and he thinks I shouldn't be seen with him. So that means I'm staying for the break, again... yay," I said sadly.

Hermione stood up from the sofa and I grabbed her hand and pulled her down.

"It's okay Hermione, he's afraid. Jace is Muggle-born and he's just trying to protect him," I chuckled.

   Hermione sighed and sat back.

"He still shouldn't talk to you like that," Hermione frowned.

I shrugged my shoulders. Ron, Jake and Harry entered the common room and sat besides Hermione and I.

"At this rate, we'll be the only ones left, Us, Malfoy, Goyle, Crabbe and Theo. What a jolly holiday it's going to be." Ron complained.

"Let me guess more people signed up to go home," I hissed.

   The boys nodded.

"This is ridiculous. We're innocent."

"Hey you lazy bums. It's dinner time lets go," George said.

I simply nodded and remained on the couch. I felt someone carry me onto their shoulder.

"George, what are you doing?" I asked.

"You can't avoid people forever and besides, we're going to have fun with this stupid accusation," Fred chuckled besides George and I.

"Make way for the Heirs of Slytherin, seriously evil wizards coming through..." George yelled.

"George Weasley," I hissed.

"It's not a laughing matter," Percy said coldly now besides us.

"Oh, get out of the way," Fred said. "Kiana and Harry are in a hurry."

"Yeah, Harry and Kiana's off to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with their fanged servant," George said.

I whacked the top of his head.

"It isn't funny you two," Ginny said approaching the two.

We passed by Malfoy who was simply clenching his fists.

"It's because he's bursting to say it's him," Ron chuckled.

"You know he hates anyone beating him at anything, and you're both getting credit for his dirty work," Jake chuckled.

"Not for long," Hermione whispered.

   I held up a finger.

"Let me down," I demanded.

George let me down and I joined my friends.

"Continue."

"The Polyjuice Potion's nearly ready.. Only enough for three. Two of us are going to have to stay behind. We'll be getting the truth out of him any day now," Hermione said.

"Brilliant," I said.

It's been a few days into the break. Mum nor dad have written to me and today is Christmas.

"Kay," Hermione said softly as I stared out the window.

I turned around and put on a fake smile.
