We sat down at a table in the corner of The Grill, as both me and Stefan sensed that Elena would probably have more questions, and we wanted more privacy, I wasn't very proud of what I had done with Will, or about how I ha left him when I probably should've trusted him. But I was determined to spend my time in mystic falls getting over him, and maybe even finding a new man.

"Stefan, I've got a sneaky suspicion that Damon is about to walk in and crash the party." I told him in a monotone voice.

"Oh , well i suppose that he'll want to ask you some questions as well." Stefan told me matter of factly.

"And you don't have any questions?" I countered knowing that sooner or later there would be a really complicated question from him.

"Not yet."

I shrugged and moved over so that Damon could sit next to me, and prepared myself for whatever punishment he had dreamed up in the hour we had been apart.

"I'm not happy with your decisions Cassandra," Damon started looking at me sternly "but I know that you'll sort yourself out, and as your only responsible big brother I expect you to come to me If you need help." He finished by giving me an awkward hug.

I sat there mesmerised.

"Promise me one thing though Cassandra, don't get back together with him"

"don't worry , I won't." I told him as much as I was telling myself. I needed to cut all ties with Will, and try and forget him and get someone new if I could before I left Mystic Falls.

"Well, now that's cleared, I suppose we can have a nice family meal?" I proposed after a minute.

Everybody agreed and we started to study the menu,

"And guess what!? Damon is paying!" I cried excitedly , knowing that it would wind him up.

"Really? That's interesting." Damon replied as I practically heard him roll his eyes.

The waitress came over to take our orders, and we all had burgers.

Damon and I choosing to share a bottle of wine, and Elena and Stefan choosing Coke.

We had a nice meal together that didn't involve arguments, sarcasm- well not much- and I can honestly say I enjoyed it.

I wasn't going to enjoy what was going to be waiting for me at home.

Damons POV

I was honestly worried about Cassandra, I'd never seen her make such poor judgements, but I knew that she meant it when she said that she wouldn't be getting back together with him, and it honestly made my chest swell with pride.

I had an idea about setting her up on a blind date, but I knew that it wouldn't be easy convincing her.

Hell, this was Cass we were on about, she'd be stubborn just for the sake of it!

I quickly sent a group text out to Stefan, Elena, Caroline, Lexi, Bonnie, and blondie who was Cass's friend, asking them to meet at the Boarding House at 10pm tonight and that it was important.

Hopefully they would all be here and we could start organising something.

Wow .

I was being nice.

I needed to shape up my act!

I know this isn't much but I promise that I will right an extra long chapter soon.

Can you all check out my other story please? I know that there is only one chapter up so far, but can you let me know if it is any good, and if you think that I should carry on.

REMINDER

<><><><><><>

please can you write a chapter about what will happen when Cassandra gets home and Will is waiting for her?

Can you also help me come up with a cast list for those who don't have actors already?

Thank you so much
