Alaric Saltzmans POV

"maybe our new girl would like to introduce herself?" she was up and out of her seat before I could even finish my sentence. Her posture and face sort of reminded me of Damon. I shook the thought away, I really spend too much time around them.

"hey , I'm cass. I just moved here with my aunt, I'm sure I'll love it here"

the bell rang for first period, and Elena and Caroline collected there stuff and walke up to the new girl. They must have offered to show her around because the next thing they were walking out the door with the rest of the students comparing schedules for the first day of term.

Cassandras POV

Katherine. The brunette I saw before, was walking towards me with blondie and she was the spitting image of Katherine. "hey I'm Caroline, and this is Elena. Need a hand" Caroline (blondie) piped up.

"sure, why not?" I smiled careful not to show too much teeth. What's the harm in getting to know 'Elena'?

Curious stares followed us as we walked through the hallways, but the only thing I was trying to figure out is why did 'Elena' look so much like Katherine?

And that's when I saw him.
