Shoutout to @GeekyGryffindorGirl Thank you!!!
Hermione held Fred's hand in hers. She wanted to fight back against the Death Eaters. She wished she knew spells to heal herself, except the spell used against her was for objects to be on fire, not humans.
Nova sat on a chair next to Fred. She had cleaned her face up with a rag Madam Pomphrey came to her with. Poppy Pomphrey ran all around the hospital wing, especially with Death Eaters blowing holes in the walls. She started to move slower when more people came through.
"I need help." Madam Pomphrey repeated through the wing. She couldn't deal with all the students, professors, and the people from Hogsmeade.
Fred stood up to negotiate with her. He asked her if she could cure Hermione fast, he will fix the explosions in the wall until the Death Eater retreat. Madam Pomphrey reluctantly agreed to let him. Fred smiled in excitement, and scurried off towards a newly blown hole in the wall. Madam Pomphrey finished up wrapping a fifth years broken ankle, and rushed towards Hermione and Nova.
"Oh my, what happened to you?" She asked, sounding a little worried, which obviously made Hermione more nervous.
"Inverbal scorching spell. I assume it was-"
"Incendio." The two said together. Madam Pomphrey nodded. "I will see what I can do. Some of it might have to heal on its own."
She started with potions, that were thick and not to be drunk. It was basically magical lotion. Hermione felt more stinging once it was applied to her back, shoulders, and neck. But then it became soothing. She put her head down further into the bed with relief.
"Okay. Now you need to pay close attention to the burns, and you will feel stinging. You'll be fine." Madam Pomphrey said. "Everyday just apply this potion to it." She handed her a bottle, similar to a shampoo one, filled with blue gel. "That is all."
Hermione thanked her, stood, and grabbed her wand, feeling stinging, but not as bad as before. It felt like a more serious sunburn.
Hermione swerved in and out if the crowd of people, Nova following close behind her, looking for Fred. Somebody's arm ran into her shoulder and she felt worse stinging, that ended as it started. Hermione gave them a dirty look and found Fred was putting a chunk of the ceiling back in place. Hermione stood behind him, and put her wand up, too, helping him patch the ceiling. The piece fit perfectly in place, even though there were pebble-sized holes missing in the middle.
There was a hole a bit further across the ceiling. Hermione decided to fix it and scare him. "Reparo!" The rubble shot up and got put back in place like nothing happened.
Fred turned around and hugged Hermione tightly. "I thought I lost you." He whispered lightly. Her cheeks turned pink.
"No way." She answered. She let out a little laugh. He laughed too.
She let go reluctantly. Fred turned to see Nova but didn't see her. "Where's Nova?"
Hermione turned to face where he was looking, eyes widening. She and Fred looked in every direction. "Nova?!" Hermione called out.
The hospital was a lot less crowded, but Nova was nowhere to be seen. Hermione ran around the nurse, away from Fred.
"Nova! Nova where are you?" Hermione hollered into the big hospital.
"Ms. Granger be quiet!" Madam Pomphrey snapped.
Hermione didn't take too much notice. She ran out of the hospital, Fred running much further behind her. He didn't want her running around with her back in such a bad condition.
Hermione sprinted to where they were fighting Death Eaters earlier, and took a few out on her way. The field was almost deserted. Hermione noticed a very big man standing with his back facing Hermione. He was yelling at someone. It was the same person who had burned Hermione. Hermione moved to see who he was yelling at. Of course, it was Nova.
"NOVA!" Hermione yelled.
