CHAPTER1

it was a normal day at lj Johnson high. i was sitting alone with my pack of "nerds" and we were bored but class was almost over so we had lunch next. i couldn't stop my eyes from staring at Chloe, then my friend Jason said "look alive man if i were to spill this on you your parents would cling to you like a neutron sticks to a proton... hey are you listening?"even though i wasn't i replied "uh yeah neutron proton all of that but more importantly i think that today will be the day i finally talk to Chloe." "oh yeah and what makes you so sure huh hot shot?" " well if you must know i wrote a song and i'm gonna sing it to her." "i'm gonna stop you right there because I'm your friend i have to tell you that your voice is'n made of Au and you can't write for shit and finally you have never talked to this girl so how do you think she is going to react to you singing to her like that i'm telling you don't do it." " if it will put you at ease i will let you hear it first OK." but what he didn't know was this was all apart of my plan to talk to her.

Jason said no but Matt and Rah(short for Rahime) both thought i should make a fool of my self and sing right now in front of the class. i said "three to one i win" and i got on the desk and sang "sunlight in my eyes but i know that i will be alright because right here in my fondest memories of you its like i'm in a dream that your here with me i know i'll never be alone because baby i dream of you and nothing is impossible to me  because baby in my dream scape  in my dreams where i go to get away and to escape in my dream scape nothing is fake to me because I'm a dreamer" and just as i was belting out that last lyric through the hoards of girls around my table i saw Chloe with one of the biggest grins on her face as if she knew it was for her. just then the bell rang and as i went to my locker to put my books away Chloe just so happened to appear like magic.

she said "that was quite the performance that you put on"in my head i was like "take that Jason then she said "don't say anything and Jason told me that the song was for me and i just wanted to say that i think it was very sweet and is that really what you feel?" and i nodded my head in reply " so why didn't you just tell me?" i told her that it isn't easy talking to someone you like let alone if your a guy like me as she cut me off she replied " what do you mean a guy like you" i said "a goofy geeky guy that no one wants to go out with not like i care though i mean why should i care for all i know all of them would be calling me Mr.Peters or president Peters and they all will rely on me. everyone who has ever been mean to me or hurt me will eventually get there's and then they all will see that i wasn't the person to be messed with." well she didn't want to hear me talk anymore because she shut my mouth and said "i know how you feel but that dosen't mean that you should feel like this i know that with every broken heart, every mistake ,and every time you get hurt you build walls but one by one i'm going to take them down and soon you won't be this bitter sour person you will happy and your heart won't have a thick shell around it and when that happens i will be there to receive that love you will give." I know that she was probably pulling my leg about this but i just couldn't help but smile. then she did something that just made my heart explode and I was walking funny for the rest of the day, and when I told my friends they didn't believe me she kissed me on the cheek. The thing girls don't know is that when a guy really likes them little things like that can gives us the most hope for the future.As for this guy i have the most faith right now that it won't last.
