A Jily love story

Chapter 7

James PoV

"Prongs, we need a way to get lily to kiss you again! Now I have a few ideas-" Sirius was cut off by James.

"No I'm sure most of your ideas are illegal!"

James and Sirius were sitting in the common room stuffed! They had gotten done with the feast and were resting it off.

"Well I'm not totally sure they're illegal.."

"Hey guys. I need to talk to you." Marlene said coming over.

"Where's lily?" I asked.

"She's up in our dorm. But I need to talk to you guys about something." She said sitting down.

"Okay. What's up?" Sirius asked. He had a big crush on her. He thought I didn't know but I did.

"Wait. Is this something Remus should be in on too? Cuz he and Peter are asleep." I said.

"No. The less that know about this the better."

"Okay. Talk."

"Lily told me about you kissing her. And she said she doesn't like you, but I always know when she's lying. We need to get her to admit to herself that she likes you. Then she can admit to me." Marlene said, going right into business mode.

"That's what we were just talking about actually! I have a few ideas and-" Sirius was cut off once again.

"No,Black. Your ideas are probably illegal or something. I have an idea of my own." Marlene said. "I was thinking we could lock the two of you in a closet for a while and then you'd be forced to talk. And you'd have to become friends so that she actually would talk to you. But that might take a while. Or we could wait till Christmas and you could get under some mistletoe."

"Those are some good ideas. But let's hold of on those for a while." I said. "I want to become her friend first."

"Okay. Also I know a spell that gets people to act on their feelings and say what they're thinking. If that could help." Marlene said standing.

"Yeah! Prongs! Marls could put the spell on lily while she's sleeping and then you could hang around her tomorrow to see what she does!" Sirius said.

"I don't know. Maybe we shouldn't do that. I'm going to bed." I said then left.

Marlene PoV

"Sit down Marls." Sirius said after James had left.

I sat down. "What?"

"I want you to help me. I was thinking we could make lily jealous. Like let her catch James with someone else. But since James wouldn't listen to my ideas at all you and I are gonna have to do something about this."

"I agree! I really want to do this spell! I tried it on my sister over summer and it was hilarious! It won't make her act out during class it just makes it really hard to resist saying what's on your mind and act on your urges, even the small ones. The bigger the urge without the spell the harder it is to resist with the spell." I said.

"Yeah. Do it." Then he stood up and left.

When I got up to the dorm lily was fast asleep. As was everyone else. I crept up to her bed and muttered the spell. I did it so that it would only last for a day. Then I went to my own bed and fell asleep excited about the next day.

Lily PoV
I woke up and woke the other girls up then we went down for breakfast and to get our time tables. While we were walking, I had the strongest urge to sing. It took all I had to hold it back. I also noticed Marlene kept looking at me.
