A Jily love story

Chapter 12

Sorry for the long wait! I haven't been able to think of what to do next in this story!

Lily PoV
I was so nervous! It was the quiditch match between hufflepuff and Gryffindor. I was really into quiditch! I made Marlene teach it to me the first game when I got to hogwarts! I hated not knowing what was happening. And since then I have been really competitive about it! Sometimes I yell so much my friends don't like to sit be me! But I really loved quiditch, with a passion! I could never play it though. I would fall of my broom! I'm super clumsy!

The morning of the match I woke up and I wasn't tired at all! I was stoked! I got up and as usual my friends were all still fast asleep!

"Guys! Get your butts out of bed! It's quiditch!!! Come on! Come on! COME ON!!" I said excitedly getting dressed and pulling a jacket on and my hair up.

"Lily! Just five... Minutes.." Marlene groaned into her pillow.

"Well I'm going down to breakfast. You lazy bones can join me whenever you like! I want to see all the players before the match!"

"Okay two things." Alice said sitting up. "You are acting like these people are celebrities! They are just our peers! And second, you just want to see James in his quiditch robes!" She smiled at that last part.

"I.. You... Nah uh!" Was all I could say. I felt my face turning light red. I knew the color would clash with my hair. "I'm hungry. I'm gonna go eat. You twats." I said leaving. As I closed the door I heard Marlene mumble "she totally likes him"

I basically skipped down to breakfast I was so excited. I was wearing a jacket that my mom had sewn the Gryffindor seal onto. It was black so that you could see the red at the top of the left side.

When I got to breakfast there weren't many people there. Which gave me a chance to choose whatever seat I wanted. But I just sat where the girls and I usually sit. And the guys usually sat right next to us. Potter usually sat next to me. Soon people began filing in all pretty excited for today's match. But not nearly as excited as me.

I was just about to butter some toast when I looked up and saw James walk in. He had his quiditch robes on and they looked good on him. He was slightly pale though.

"Hey Evans. How's it going?" He said looking really nervous.

But I was to caught up in my excitement and his typos good looks to notice how nervous he was. I also didn't realize all his mates were right behind him.

"Potter!!" I said loudly, and not being able to control my excitement I gave him a really hug! And he hugged me back! "I'm so excited for the game!" I said, I was basically jumping out of my skin!

"Hey lil!" Porter said with more enthusiasm and more color in his face. The guys were snickering behind him.

"You're gonna do great I know it! And you really need to win I bet 3 gallions to Rachel Darfkin in hufflepuff that we would win! I want those gallions for next weekends hogsmead trip!" I said rambling on and on about how excited I was. I was fully unaware that potter was staring at me because for once I wasn't looking at him. That was until I went to take a sip of my juice and I looked over at him. And I totally stared. In plane sight I stared at him! I was totally lost in his eyes! (Seriously cliché but it's true!)

I was so caught up in looking at him that I hadn't realized my friends had arrived until Alice kicked my leg under the table. Which made me jump a mile high!

"When'd you get here?!" I asked astonished. James had the same lost look.

"We have been here for like five whole minutes and In that time you wanna know what happened?! You and potter were staring at each other! The entire time!" Molly laughed!

I blushed deeply and looked down at my food. I could see potter out of the corner of my eye blushing and smiling like an idiot.

"Well now that James doesn't seem so nervous, we'd better get to the quiditch pitch. Get good seats." Sirius said standing up. All the rest of us did the same. And we all walked to the pitch chattering excitedly.

When we were about to part ways with James and Sirius going to the changing rooms and is going to get seats I decided to do something bold.

"James! Wait!" I ran up to him and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before he even knew what I was doing. Then I turned around and ran to catch up with the others. None of them saw and neither did Sirius. Which I was glad about. I looked back and saw James grinning stupidly and just standing there. Sirius was trying to snap him back to reality.

"And here comes the Gryffindor team with captain James potter! Who has put together an astounding team! And now here are the hufflepuffs with Edwin Culphry as captain and he too has a great team! Looks like this is going to shape up to be a great match!" Gerald Jordan said into the enchanted megaphone. I always loved his commentating. He was always fair to both teams even though he's a Gryffindor just a year younger than us.

"And they're off! Gryffindor starting with the quaffle..." and the game began.

A/n I'm so sorry that I haven't updated for like ever! I just can't think of anything good! I think I might be coming out of my writers slump now though. I'll try to update more, if you guys are really liking the story. Tell me what you think? I've been considering just discontinuing it, but if any of you want me to keep going I definitely will! But I think I'm emerging from my writers block period, if only just a little! But yeah I'll definitely keep going unless I really really can't think of how to keep it going! But please tell me what you think! I love feedback! Tell me what you think I should change and what you've liked about the story! I appreciate all comments!!
