Yoongi

It had been almost two months since I met Jungkook. Much to my surprise, in this short time, we had become quite close.

Jungkook was loving the new college. He said transferring was one of the best decisions he ever made, and I had to agree. I really liked having him around. I had learnt that Jungkook was really not shy. At all. In fact he was the opposite. He would talk about anything and everything, and I would quietly listen. But he didn't mind being the only one to talk, especially not when he had so much to say.

We had lectures and classes at around the same time and same days as each other, and he even attended the same weekly literature lecture as me, choosing to sit in the seat (that was usually free) next to me at the back.

We had also made a habit of meeting up for lunch together. It was nice and quiet, just the two of us, for the first few days. After a week though, Namjoon and Hoseok spotted us at our table, and now for the last couple of weeks or so have been sitting with us everyday. I didn't mind at all though. Lunch had changed from an almost pointless hour where I could catch up studying or take a nap, and become my favourite part of the day. I finally felt like a real college student. With a social life. With friends.

Today's lunch break was just like any other lunch. I was eating my chicken and salad sandwich and listening to Hoseok and Namjoon talk. The topic of todays conversation was Hoseok's ' totally awesome' twitter friend, Minnie.

"She was in America for 6 months, but has recently come back to Korea! Isn't that awesome Hyung?" He pokes me with his chopstick and I nod, my face staying blank. Nothing unusual for me, I'm not much of a smiler.

"That's amazing Hobi" Jungkook said, smiling wide at Hoseok, or rather Hobi (which was the nickname Namjoon had come up with for him a couple years back. It just stuck I guess). "Are you going to meet her?" Jungkook asks, biting his lip. I have noticed he always does this when concentrating, or when he's nervous.

He's so cute. I feel lips curve up a little.

I'm not much of a smiler...

"I want to ask, but I'm nervous..." Hoseok says as an answer.

"You should just ask her Hobi." Namjoon says, almost sounding bossy. Almost. "She's probably waiting for you to; girls often want guys to make the first move." He says matter-of-factly and I scoff, almost spitting out my food. Almost.

"Yeah, you would know." I mutter back, a slight bitter tone to my voice. I can't help it though. I still slightly dislike the fact that Namjoon is leading my best friend (Jin) on, but bringing girls home each night. And I know for a fact he does that, because Jungkook never shuts up about it. Not that I mind listening to him talk.

Namjoon simply rolls his eyes at me, and I shrug because I don't take it back. The tension grows heavy, and I finish my sandwich, somewhat enjoying the silence that I haven't heard since Namjoon and Hoseok joined our lunch table.

"Sooo..." Hoseok breaks the silence, changing the subject from before. "Jungkook, Namjoon was telling me your looking for somewhere to stay." He says, and Jungkook looks up from his fruit salad (which I thought was a very cute lunch choice) and nods at Hoseok.

"Yeah, but I haven't been able to find somewhere renting, most likely 'cause it's halfway through the semester." He says sadly and I frown.

"That's too bad" Hoseok says, and it grows silent again.

Suddenly, an idea pops into my head. He needs a pace to stay. I have a spare room. He could live with me.

"Jungkook..." I say, breaking the silence and getting his attention. He looks up at me, eyes widening.

"I, uh, have this spare room in my apartment..." I trailed off, trying to find the right words. "I'm using it as a storage room right now, but if you wanted you could..."

"Ae you saying I can stay in that room, in an apartment with you?" He asks, his voice becoming higher with excitement.

"Well, yeah... If you want. I mean, I-it's not all that flash, b-but it would do! Its really close to the college too!" I ramble on and look up at Jungkook.

He's smiling wide, and before I have a chance to ramble on some more, I feel two strong arms thrown around my shoulders, and my face is engulfed in Jungkook's sweater. He's hugging me. I feel my heart beat faster, and the familiar butterflies return as he hugs me tighter. He's so warm. This feels strangely, nice, even though I am having trouble breathing.

I pull away, and take a deep breath. "Couldn't... Breath, ugh." I let out, taking deep breaths. Jungkook giggles. Yes, giggles, and apologises. I have to try hard to fight a smile.

I'm not much of a smiler...

Namjoon stifles a laugh at Jungkooks reaction, and Hoseok lets out a loud "Aww." I just blush a little, hitting him on the shoulder.

"Hyung! Would you really let me stay?" Jungkook asks, still smiling, and I nod in response. He hugs me again, quicker and lighter this time, but just as nice. "Thankyou so much Yoongi! You have no idea how much stress you have saved me just now... Ah! I'm so happy!" He says, gleefully, doing a little happy dance.

I fail to hide my smile this time, letting out a small laugh at his antics. Jungkook blushes, realising that we are in public, and stops, but doesn't stop smiling.

The rest of lunch consists of Jungkook thanking me non-stop, Hoseok talking about 'how cute our little maknae is' and Namjoon paying me out for being too nice to the boy. And although Hoseok is starting to get annoying, and Namjoon is getting down right on my nerves, I can't hide my smile. Because when I look up, and see the raven haired boy with the pink cheeks and bunny teeth, it's almost impossible to hide my happiness.

I'm not much of a smiler...

Except when I'm with Jungkook.
