Third persons POV

Yoongi returned home to find Jungkook slaving away in the kitchen. As much as Yoongi was happy at the sight (especially since Jungkook looked so adorable with flour on his cheeks and an apron around his waist), Yoongi was also confused, because he was sure Jungkook said the party finished at 7:00pm, and it was only 5:30.

When he asked the younger boy why he was home so early, Jungkook just smiled and waved him off, telling him to go shower because dinner would be ready soon. So Yoongi didn't question him any further, and left to shower.

Jungkook on the other hand, tried to hold back tears that were threatening to spill. He had not had a very merry Christmas at all. The Christmas party at Taehyung's was not a fun event. He knew about Taehyung's step dad being, well, less then friendly towards gay people. But he hid his sexuality well, still wanting to keep his friendship with Taehyung. So when Namjoon let his secret slip at the party, (accidentally, he might add), his father was not too happy. Jungkook was called names, and told to leave.

He was literally pushed out the door. But that wasn't why he was upset. No he had been kicked out before, it was nothing new. The thing that made him upset was that Taehyung didn't even try to stop his step father. He just stood there, shocked, not even trying to assist Namjoon in calming his father down.

Jungkook had left, crying the whole way home. Crying on a bus full of happy families and couples. Crying as he passed neighbours at the apartment block, and crying as he shut the apartment door. He was happy that Yoongi didn't see him cry. And he didn't want him to see him cry now, so he continued to make dinner, distracting himself from the events of his less-than-happy Christmas day.

Yoongi returned after hearing Jungkook call him out for dinner. He had made chicken pie, and it smelled delicious. Yoongi sat down at the table, opposite Jungkook and thanked him for the food before picking up his fork and digging in. But Jungkook cleared his throat, holding up a hand as if to tell Yoongi to wait a second.

"Yoongi-ah, I think you're forgetting something before you eat." The younger says, looking up at Yoongi shyly. Yoongi looks at Jungkook with a confused expression.

"Uh, do you want to say grace or something?" Yoongi asks, still confused. They haven't said grace any other night, so why is tonight different? Because its Christmas?

"No... That's not it." Jungkook says seriously. "Listen. I'm gonna be straight with you Yoongi." Jungkook says, and Yoongi cant help but chuckle.

"That's gonna be hard seeming as you're gay-" Yoongi begins to joke, but is cut off.

"Now is really not the time for jokes..."

Especially not about being gay. Jungkook thought to himself.

"I'm serious here. Listen Yoongi," Jungkook continues. "I found your prescription for anti-depressants." Yoongi stops smiling, and drops his fork.

"Y-you... What?" Yoongi asks, slightly angry and very confused.

"I-I wasn't going to do this on Christmas, but you've seemed on edge since yesterday so I thought...." Jungkook trails off, and pulls out a bottle. The bottle of anti-depressants that Yoongi tried to ignore for so long.

"Please, take them. I don't want you to hurt yourself." Jungkook says quietly, passing across the table to Yoongi. Yoongi stares at the boy, then at the bottle, before sliding it back towards Jungkook.

"No... No way." Yoongi starts. "Those things... They take away my energy. They drain me of feeling." He says, running a hand through his hair, and clenching his fists. "Y-you cant make me take these. Not after... Not after I've finally started to feel again. Not after I met..." He stops himself, breathing deeply. He runs his hands through his hair again.
