The sun was startning to set, which meant it was time for the bloodbath.
Brent and I had climbed into a huge nearby tree together, we had eaten all of the first pack and some of the second because Brent said that we probably wouldn't be here for long.
We collected all of our things and trudged off to the Cornacoupia.
We got there first, whic probably wasn't the best thing to do, because Sabrina and Clark could pop out anywhere.
Soon, they emerged from the trees swinging their weapons. They soon picked up pace and began running towards us.
"We got this." Brent whispered to me, as we began to fight.
Sabrina faced me and Clark faced Brent. Brent and Clark were a pretty even fight, same with Sabrina and I. I bet the Capitol was getting a pretty nice show.
Sabrina lunged at me with her sword but, I ducked just in time. I strung my bow and arrow and shot one at her ankle sending her down. She grabbed her sword, on the ground and thrusted it at my foot.
Searing pain shot through my foot and red appeared through my shoe. She laughed and dropped her sword.
I screamed in pain.
Brent quickly turned around.
"June!" he yelled, falling to the ground, with a sword stuck in his back.
"NO!" I screamed, stringing my bow, and shooting Clark in the heart.
I quickly got up and drew the sword from Brent's back and thrust it at Sabrina. She dodged it and I knew this wasnt fair.
She was on the ground and I was standing, barely , on my feet. I dropped the sword and hobbled off to the woods.
I somehow managed to climb up the tree and cry myself to sleep.
