I woke up with red puffy eyes, and the realization that both Clark and Brent were gone, forever.
It was just me and Sabrina. I knew she was looking for me, I was just hoping the capitol wouldn't try and shake things up and tell her where I was. But, I knew she was close, I could sense it.
Suddenly, the capitols seal appeared in the sky and the anthem began to play. Oh no.. I thought.
"Congrats tributes, you are the final two." President Brownsman's voice bommed through the arena. "To make things more interesting, we have decided that, a slight change will take place." My heart skipped a beat. "The arena will start to get smaller as the days go on, and you will know where each other are at all times, from the tracker implanted in you the day you entered the arena."
NO, NO, NO. This is not happening.
"Until then, here are all of the tributes that have fallen through these days of fighting." Faces of the fallen tributes began to flash through the sky.
I had to get the tracker out of me. I have bandages and medicine. I would be fine.
After minutes of tossing and turning with the thought in my head, i decided that I had to get the tracker out.
After my decison, the President started talking again. The map will activate now." A holographic green map appeared on my tree. "The map will move with you as you move throughout the arena."
"Good luck my tributes and Happy Hunger Games."I had to get this trackeer out of me. I grabbed one of the seringes from the medicine pack from the second bag , and injected pain killers into my arm, so it wouldn't hurt. I felt it spreading through my veins. I grabbed my last throwing knife, which sort've looked like a dagger, with a sharp tip and long handle. I dug it right in the scar where they inserted the tracker. I immediately felt the tracker and used the tip to dig it our of my arm. Blood started to pour out of my arm, and I knew I had to get it out soon. The tracker instantly easily popped out right into my hand. The tracker looked exactly like a microchip, about the size of an almond. I threw the tracker on the ground. The medicine was started to wear off and pain started popping up in my mind. I grabbed a bandage and patched everything up. I also, decided to patch of my toe. I took of my shoe and put a bandage on the gash on my toe. I put my shoe back on and glanced over at my hologram map. I only saw one dot, and that was Sabrina's.
Mine was over by the Cornacoupia, where I'd thrown it before. My plan was working out fine, until Sabrina's dot started moving towards mine. I looked down, and there she was.
