When I woke up the next morning, Alia came in and escorted Clark and I into a room down the hall. Inside the room was filled with ladders, ropes, weapons, fighting dummies, paint, weights and soo many more things I didn't even know still exsisted.

"Good Morning Everyone." The peacekeeper said. "Today will be a training day. You will be training for the next few days. You will enter the arena on Friday. Here, we will teach you valuable skills that will be needed inside the arena. So, please no fighting or arguing, that's what the arena is for. You may begin training now."

I glanced around at the different stations, trying to decide what to do. When Clark grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to the weapon station.

"Finley said we should tran together." he mumbled softly in my ear. Finley is our mentor for this year. Although he's never gone to the arena, he is still a very valuable sorce of information.

I didn't necassarily want to train with him. He was nice, but I never really saw him as a friend. But, I guess we had to get along if we were gonna get sponsors.

I made my way over to the axe and started trying to chuck it at the different dummies that were moving constantly around, suspended from the ceiling. I hit everyone straight at the top of the head.

I tried some of the other weapons, but none of them seemed to work as well with me as the axe did. So I decided that the axe would be the weapon I would try and get my hands on at the cornacoupia.

Next, me and Clark moved to the climbing section. I remembered that I was pretty decent at climbing becuase back at home, I had to climb to hunt the raccoons for dinner sometimes. But, compared to the other tributes climbing skills, I was stellar at it. By the end if the time at this station, I had climbed to the top of the rope 3 times, whilt the others barely managed to get halfway once. I could definetly tell some of them were starting to get intimidated by me. Which  I guess was a good thing, for me.

After going through all the other stations, I was ready to collapse.

Luckily, They escorted us back to our rooms so we could get some rest for tomorrow, which would be the final day of practice trainging until The Final Evaluation.
