I just stood there shocked.

It seemed as if everything had stopped.

The world stopped turning.

Everyone stopped breathing.

Everything just stopped.

I was finally snapped back into reality by the Peacekeepers escorting me up to the stage.

When I reached the top of the stage, Alia quickly pulled me into a hug, as if congratulating me.

"Congrats sweetheart." She said looking me staright in the eyes.

"And now for the boys," She again motioned towards the clear glass bowl, but , this time deciding on the one right on the top.

She quickly unfolded it, as if she was in a rush and, read it aloud.

"Clark Skins."

I instnatly recognized the name. A picture formed in my head.

A big muscular guy, almost 7 feet tall with dark brown hair and eyes.

He had been the town's heart throb ever since he was in Preschool. All the girls fell for him, but I always thought he was a showoff and nothing but an arrogant jerk.

He was born in the Capitol but than moved here when he was about 3, like me.

He quickly looked around and arrogantly walked up to the stage.

Alia gave him a quick glance, checking him out head to toe. Which made Clark wink at her flirtaciously and pull her in his arms. And raise his hands in delite.

"Well" Alia said in a daze, "That's all for today say goodbye to our tributes before off they go on a train to the lovely capitol!

The Peacekeepers excorted us into the car to drive to the train.

As if in no time, we reached the train. I still couldn't belive what had just happend.

I, June Brinley, was going to be in The Annual Hunger Games.
