Chapter 37- Kosei

"Amigo, come here!" Agad siyang tumakbo papunta sa akin at naupo sa aking harapan.

"I missed you too, buddy! How are you? Do they feed you here?" Tanong ko habang hinahaplos ang kaniyang nape.

Napatawa ako ng agad na naupo si Femme sa aking lap. Amigo is a Cane Corso while Femme is a Pomeranian. I adopted Amigo 4 years ago while Femme was a gift from a suitor in Sweden 2 years ago.

"Of course, I missed you too sweetie." Saad ko kay Femme at niyakap ito. I am still having some quality time with my fur babies when my new phone rang.

"Have you arrived safe?" I rolled my eyes.

"Nakakaabala ka. I am currently having quality time with my babies, Zane. And yes I arrived safe and sound."

"Babies? What are you talking----"

"Gotta go." Maikling saad ko at mabilis na pinatay ang cellphone ko.

Tiningnan ko ang food container nila Amigo at Femme at marami pa naman itong laman pati na rin ang kanilang water container. Arturito never fails to do his job polishly.

The telephone rang kaya no choice ako kung hindi iwan sila Amigo at sagutin iyon.

"Señora, the Limerences' just announced the merge between the two rival mafias." Dahil hindi ko inaasahan ang ibinalita ni Arturito ay nabitawan ko ang hawak kong kopita.

What the fuck! I am not ready for this. Wala ang lahat ng ito sa plano ko. That ass is ruining everything.

"Call Señor Alfredo and ask him to take action. This can't happen while we're trying to make amendments with the Government and the Consejo." Ibinato ko ang telepono at mabilis na naglakad papunta sa aking silid upang magpalit ng damit.

For sure the Consejo Europeo is in chaos right now. I know how much they hate the Southerners. They won't agree with marriage for convenience for sure. Peace is not an option herr. Underground is a world for chaos, there's no room for peace and solidarity.

Hinayaan ko muna na mag-cool down yung issue bago ako gumawa ng aksyon sa problemang nangyayari. Sa pagkakaalam ko ay nakausap na rin ni Papa ang mga Limerence tungkol sa nangyayari.

"What the heck, Alexander?" Bungad ko sa kaniya ng tumawag siya sa akin kinagabihan.

"Do you really think na hahayaan ko na itago natin ang relasyon natin, Carmilla? Hell no!" Sigaw siya at narinig ko nalang ang sunod sunod na pagkabasag.

"You're mine and the whole world should know that. I'm sorry baby but I cannot give you your goddamn whim this time" Mas kalmadong saad niya bago pinatay ang tawag.

Hindi ako nakapagsalita dahil sa sinabi niya. My whim? Seriously? What the heck is that?

Natigil ako sa pag-iisip ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko.

"Madame, you should check the news."

Another raid. Another lost.

Napahawak ako sa sentido ko. How will I handle this? Bakit naman nagsabay-sabay pa?

"Madame, Señora Helga and Señorita Justice has arrived." Agad kong iniwan ang aking silid at mabilis na pinuntahan sila Helga.

Mabilis akong yumakap sa kaniya ng mahigpit na tila ba wala ng bukas.

"Bitch, I won't go anywhere. Let go of me, please." Saad niya sa akin at pagkabitaw ko ay agad siyang sinalubong nila Amigo.

"Kumusta?" Napatawa ako dahil sa slang na pagsasalita niya at binuhat na lamang si Justice. "How are you my little kosei?" Gosh she's getting bigger and bigger every passing day.

"I'm good, Mommy. Mama bought so many apples yesterday." 

"Hey! Why are you laughing at me? I'm a Filipina!"

"In your dreams, Hel, in your dreams." Nagtatawa kong saad bago sumenyas sa mga katulong upang mabigyan kami ng meryenda.

She's Katsumi Tanahasi, half Japanese and half Filipina and yet she doesn't know how to speak tagalog properly.

She's a daughter of a Yakuza. 8 years ago when she ran away from Japan dahil hindi niya na kaya ang ipinapagawa ng kaniyang Otousan. She was gang raped before and I'm glad she survived it and then she ended up here in Spain. Since then, she change her identity. She cut her long silky hair and throw her conservative clothes. She became completely different person. When you look at her, you won't recognised her as Katsumi Tanahashi, the most obedient daughter of the almighty Hiroki Tanahashi .

She's now a lady boss.

More like a Mafia Boss.

"Any news about the Yakuza group?" Tanong ko habang umiinom ng wine at siya naman ay yakap pa rin si Femme na nilalaro ni Justice. Napalingon siya sa akin at binitawan si Femme.

"Bad news, their loyalty is still on my Father." Napakibit balikat na lamang ako dahil sa kaniyang sinabi.

"Well, don't pressure yourself too much. I've executed the Plan B." Iniangat ko ang aking kamay at ipinakita sa kaniya ang Heirloom Ring ng mga Limerence.

"Seriously, Carmilla? You're such a cunning lady!" And then she left with Femme. And Justice was left alone with me. 

I need to be this cunning so I can survive, Hel. Just like what you did before you became literally Hell. 

"Do you want to go shopping, my little kosei?" Magiliw na tanong ko kay Justice na agad naman niyang sinangayunan. She's just 7 years old at hindi ko alam kung kanino niya namana ang pagiging tahimik na bata. Lumaki siya na kasama ako at wala naman akong natatandaan na naging tahimik kami ni Hel habang pinapalaki siya.

"Do you want this little apple, Kosei?"

"Yes, Mommy."

Pinasara ko ang buong Mall kaya kaming dalawa lang nandito. I cannot expose her to the public.

Not yet.

Hindi ko alam kung nasaan na si Hel, maybe finishing some business. I'm not sure though.

Nakita ko ang palihim na paglalabas ni Justice ng maliit na baril na regalo ko sa kaniya noon.

She's getting wilder and wilder everyday. I hope someday, she won't bite us.
