Chapter Seven || Sophia Lucia’s POV
Published: 28th of July 2013.
***A/N I’ve had some problems with updating, sorry to make you wait. Also sorry this chapter is a bit listy! I just thought that since there’s so much going on with nearly every character you might want a sum up just so you didn’t get confused. I was going to make an author’s note chapter to do the sum up, but then I thought why not do it from Sophia’s point of view, since I haven’t done her'ss in a while. The funniest EVER gif of Christy is in the multimedia, I just found it and I thought I would share it because it made me laugh sooo much!***

I feel like Chloe’s slightly moved on from me to Autumn. I get that friendships are complicated, what with Chloe and Paige falling out and all of us being in the same dorm, and of course the fact that for some stupid reason Chlo’s not on the competition team. All of us except Paige (who wasn’t with us and had obviously thought we had told Chloe) found out last night from the list outside the dining hall, but we didn’t tell Chloe because we didn’t want to upset her.
I guess that slightly backfired on Paige. She told Chloe this morning. Paige came over to me and told me what happened while Chloe was with Autumn.
Chloe’s always with Autumn now. They’ve become best friends pretty much overnight. I guess I shouldn’t really be bitching about Chloe, because she’s the sweetest girl ever. I’m serious. There’s nothing bad in her.
She’s probably just tired and confused, and probably a bit homesick too. Autumn and I are very used to being away from our family for competitions and tours because both of our parents work and often can't make it, but the dance moms usually go everywhere with their kids, so it must feel a bit weird for all of them not to be with their family.
And I know it’s not Autumn’s fault either, because she’s super nice. I honestly think this whole thing is one big misunderstanding, but it’s a shame it had to happen on our first week.
It’s lunchtime. We had a very hard session of acro this morning, which has left me pretty much immobile. My back aches, my shoulders ache, my neck aches – okay, everything aches. I'm pretty flexible, so I can't imagine how the other girls must be feeling.
In an hour, after we’ve had lunch and had time to digest, we’ll have a class where we’ll be learning our dances for the upcoming competition. Chloe and everyone else in our year who’s not in the competition team will be doing hip hop with the juniors. It’s so unfair on her. I’m not surprised she’s upset.
I get a notebook out of my shoulder bag and make a list of how everyone's been acting this week. Making lists makes everything seem far more simple.
Maddie- Pretty much normal. Hangs out with Paige, Nia, and Nick.
Chloe- Looks upset most of the time. Best friends with Autumn.
Nia- Messing around in the dorm a lot. Very hyper. Very funny.
Brooke- Very mature. Has become very serious about dance now that Abby isn't breathing down her neck. Hangs out in Alexandra and Anna Rose’s dorm, mostly.
Kendall- Looks tired. Her dancing has become really sloppy.
Mackenzie- Seems to be really enjoying school. Very bouncy and happy.
Asia- Hangs out with Mackenzie. Seems to be happy.
Autumn- Overall the most sensible of us, I think. Friends with everyone and trying to sort out everyone’s problems.
Me- I’m fine.
General conclusion: Nearly everyone in this dorm needs a holiday already and it’s only day two.
