No Mercy

Prince Alec POV

I heard a high pitch scream and looked up at the sky to see birds flying away, my eyes landed back down to the trees that surrounded me

A guard runs up to me seeming out of breathe, he locked eyes with me and I could see he was terrified.

"Gabriella has been taken prince"

I take a step back, shocked. I just spoke to her a few minutes ago.

"By whom?"

"I don't know-"

"You find her, you bring her back alive." I shout "All of you, stop what you are doing and find that girl"

I walked over to my tent and grabbed my sword. I turned around and stared at the empty woods and charged at it full force. Determined to find Gabriella.

Gabriella POV

I opened my eyes staring at the sky, I was still outside. I looked down and saw my clothing was changed, I was wearing a long white dress.

"Oh no" I said sitting up in shock

"We didn't touch you" A familiar voice shouted from behind me

I turned around, standing up and saw the two men from earlier.

"Why did you change?"

"In our village, a women should be dressed in a white dress." Spider spoke "Jeans and a shirt is for whores"

I scoffed "You seem to be talking like a gentleman, few minutes ago you were implying that you would rape me!"

He smirks, and nods. "Change of plans, my father needs a new wife. someone young, pretty and that can have children"

"No!" I shout in horror "I am not for sale"

The two boys look at each other and burst out laughing, I was terrified.

"It's hilarious that you think you have a choice"  Jad spoke calmly "you step into our territory, haven't your parents told you the woods are for the fallen wolves ?"

I clutch my first, I knew I wouldn't have a chance taking on two men. But if i was going to die, I at least had to put on a fight.

I charged at Jad, he was a little less more intimidating then spider, I jumped on him and stated Hitting his face with full force.

He kicked me in the stomach and I went flying, I hit my head on a tree and fell to the floor. It was as if I was a leaf to him. A human being doesn't just have that much strength.

I tried to stand up but quickly fall on my backside, my head was spinning.

"Gabbie!" Anita's voice shouted, I looked around relieved but couldn't see her.

"Anita!" I shout back, standing up.

I finally saw her, she had a sword in her hand and my eyes widen. Where did she get that?

"Gabriella!" she says running towards me with full speed, she turns her back at me and points her sword at the two men.

"Where are the guards? Where's  Prince Alec?" I whisper in her ear

"I don't know" i could hear fear in her voice, as she stood in front of me like a human shield.

"My, My you are beautiful" spider says eyeing Anita like meat.

"Just leave us alone, we don't want no harm boys" Anita shouts loudly, I didn't know if she meant for the guards to hear her.

I look behind Jad and saw prince Alec slowly approach him from behind. I look at spider who was distracted by Anita's outburst.

Prince Alec raises his sword, and stabs Jad in the back. I scream in horror falling on my knees as Jad's body burst into flames.

Alec's eyes landed on mine, as my screaming distracted him. Spider stabbed him in the chest five times in a row. Anita dropped her weapon to the floor and fell on her knees.

We just witnessed Alec's death, Spider eyes connected with mine and he ran into the woods. I stood up my knees shaking and began to chase him but Anita pulled me back.

"We have to run" Anita whispers "Gabriella we need to run!"

I could see her panicking and I shook my head.

"No, We have to take him back to camp!" I shout back in her face

"They're going to kill us, you idiot! Who's going to believe two maids, you're a orphan and I am poor" she says crying "they will execute us, they will torture-"

I ran towards Alec, listened to his breathing. "His still alive, his just breathing slowly"

"What was that thing? Why did he just perish?"she cried

"Theirs no time for this, we have to take the prince." I shout, I grabbed his arms.

"People don't just spontaneously combust!" Anita says passing back and forth.

"Shut up!" I shout "Grab his legs now!"

she ran towards the prince and grabbed his legs, he was ridiculously heavy. as we tried to find the camp. We heard men shouting.

I turned around and saw three men on horses approaching us, I sighed in relief.

"Traitors!" A guard shouted pointing his weapon on me.

"Well, it was nice knowing you." Anita says dropping Prince Alec's feet and putting her hands up in the air to surrender.

Prince Alec's POV

"you're not dying on me" I heard a girl whisper, her warm breathe tingling my ear.

my eyes slowly open and I saw a girl with a silky white dress, her hands where pressed on my face. Hers eyes were closed and she whispers something.

I felt my eyes close again, I felt myself slipping away into darkness.

"Alec" her voice sounded harsher and my eyes shot open

I saw a bright blue light, formed into a circle. I felt my body sit up straight. I look at her, her nose begins to bleed as she keeps whispering nonsense.

Her arms drop to her side and I studied her face, it was Gabriella.

My eyes close again and I failed to gain consciousness as everything went to darkness.
