King Alec Leonidas
I felt my head throbbing however I force my eyes open slowly adjusting to the light, looking around my eyes immediately landing on Amelia who had her back turned to me and was brushing her hair while gazing at her own reflection.
"What happened?" I ask, clearing my throat.
"I was wondering when you were going to wake the hell up, kinda thought you died." She says, turning around and smiling.
I sit up straight realised that I was wearing a white silky shirt, and new black pants. I stood up walking to the mirror where she was.
"Why did you make me look.... pretty?" I was confused by my sudden makeover, my hair curled.
"I didn't even have to try hard, you are already handsome." She shrugged, turning to face me.
"but if you must know, you freaked out last night cried hysterically, pulled out some of your hair, puked on your clothes then passed out."
"What?" I didn't remember all that, I hardly remember much.
"It's your brain trying to cope with all the emotions, it's basically refusing to let you feel pain, but fear not ex lover because it will come back one day."
"I have this image in my head that's clear, my sister.."
"Yes, you saw her her last night that wasn't a dream." She ran her hands through her hair.
"You both need to come with me back to my kingdom, its where you belong."
"When you leave this castle, you will forget everything including your sister." Amelia looks down, plying with hair hands instead of making direct eye contact.
"You can't do that to me, it isn't right... everybody will know."
"Alec after all this time do you want to go down in the books as the mad king who believes in the dead can come back to life." ?"
"They would believe me, why would I lie about something like this.." I stoped for a second "how did you know I was the King?"
"No, the people will see a brother who has not properly grieved.. they will see you as someone who's not capable to lead. Besides you will forget everything when you step foot out of this place, it's a curse, I told you last night this castle is built on ancient magic."
"Then come with me!" I grab her wrists, looking at her in the eye.
"The king is a monster, he can snap his fingers and kill a man in a second.. Everybody in the half moon castle is linked to him by blood... meaning he will find your sister and I."
"How can one person possess all that power?" I asked, thinking back to Gabriella.
"Elements, he murdered his brothers in cold blood taking their abilities. They each had their own.. manipulation, fire, water, telekinesis I don't even want to know who or what else he sacrificed for his selfish desire to be feared."
"Where is he?" I ask letting go of her.
Her eyes widened and she shook her head "No Alec, it's too dangerous."
