Are You In Love With Alec?

Gabriella POV

" I cannot believe you nearly ruined the royal wedding, I am your roommate and only friend in this place.. and you nearly got both of our heads cut off !" Anita shouts, walking around our bedroom.

"I wasn't going to say anything at the wedding! I just took a couple of steps closer so I can see it properly."

"Do I look like a fool ?" She questioned, putting her hands on her hips.

"Yes, as a matter of fact you do" I say standing up and crossing my arms

She sighs loudly, I could tell that she wasn't in the mood. And I wasn't either, what exactly did she want me to confess to. She was right about being my only friend however that doesn't necessarily mean I trust her completely.

"Are you in love with Alec?" She blurted.

"I don't know" I whisper to her truthfully, I felt something for Alec but I don't know if it's love or lust.

Her jaw drops, I could see genuine shock from her.

"There was at least seventeen ways you could of lied about that. Literally. Like, I'm counting them right now, you moron" she sits down on the side of her bed "This is bad"

"You are right, you're my only friend here. And I am telling you the truth Anita, I don't know what I feel for him" I shrug, not knowing what else to say.

"This is bad" she says shaking her head

"You said that already.."

"It seemed worth repeating" Anita mumbled under her breathe

I walk towards her sitting beside her on her bed, she quickly stands up as if she was allergic to me and walks to the opposite side of the room.

"Just to be sure, were on the same page?" I asked her softly

"Page? We're not even in the same library!" She shouts

I stand up and put my index finger on my lips, she was going to get us both in huge trouble with her anger.

"You're not going to tell anyone, are you?" I asked my heart rate increasing rapidly.

"Of course not you imbecile, then we would both be dead."

Their was a knock on our door and we both stare at it, nobody comes to our room. I take a deep breathe in and slowly walk towards it, I could hear Anita whispering for me to stop.

I put my hand on the door knob and slowly open it, their was a knight standing their. His blue eyes sparkling from under his helmet. I took a breathe out in relief.

"You're needed in the kitchen, the queens instructions." He spoke with a monotone

"We will be their in a second" I said closing the door, he put his foot inside my room stopping the door from closing.

"Did I stutter?" he asked a rhetorically "And theirs no we it's only you, your queen tells you to do something. You do it without hesitation."

I heard a cough behind him, the Knight turns around and walks away, as he moves out of the way I see Alec standing their smiling at me.

"Prince Alec Leonidas" I said in shock

"King" Anita whispered harshly

"I mean King Leonidas, sorry-"
