Chapter Six

       It's like my muscles were completely frozen stiff. I only sat with my eyes wide staring at this so called guy that I knew when I was a young child.....and in my past? He only sits and studies me very intently with his blue eyes. They didn't feel intimidating but more .....like I felt my connection with him. He suddenly begins to speak which snaps me out of being stiff.

" Erin! I'm so happy your safe! you have no idea how long i've searched for your ware abouts!" he simply smiles softly.

I smirk back because lets face it.....the boys smile was utterly contiguous! " I still don't quite understand what's going on.....I don't recondnize you at all....."

Gale's smile begins to fall in a straight line and sadness starts to feel his eyes. " Wait....are you honestly telling me that......you have no clue  who I even am?"

I sigh and scratch my head. "Nope. Sorry.....I've never seen you in my life....." 

Gale was utterly confused at this point. I could imagine his thoughts being, " how does she not remember", or " Why can't she remember me?" too many questions but still not enough answers that I can't even give. He looked....disappointed.

" Oh....so I see...."  He holds the rose limp in his hand. The smile he had a minute ago disappeared instantly.

I start to feel bad for the guy so I simply touch his hand," I really am sor-"

Before I could finish Josh was standing right behind Gale with his  hand gun loaded and ready to fire, he looked furious that someone got into my room and what's worse is not only was he scared but I was mortified. Gale was the only person in the room who was calm.

" You bastard! how did you get into the room?" he glared at Gale.

Gale stood up and turned around, " I simply walked in. Don't worry I wasn't going to harm Erin..."

Josh simply straightened up his body and breathed heavy through his nostrils. I could tell it wasn't going to end very well at all.

" Now you bloody listen to me Lucifer! and listen good! You get the hell out of here before-"

Confused. " What on earth are you talking about? I'm not Lucifer, I'm Gale.....Lucifer was my brother..." 

At this point I'm simply in jaw drop mode. Nothing could stop the shock going all over my body, because to hear that this handsome guy is related to a beastly killer like that? almost defies all odds really.

Gale spoke in a suttle voice before looking at me. His touch on my hand sent chills down my spine and the way he sounded so concerned was really calming.

" Erin? are you really alright?" Gale asked concerned.

I stare up at him like he was almost a god. " Huh? oh....yeah, just a little shocked is all I guess."

Josh steps into the conversation to not get pushed out. " Wait.......How can you be related to the guy who killed Erin's parents?"

Gale looked as if the life got sucked right out of him. His hands tightened into fists and his face was pale white. " What? Erin's parents are dead?" He stared at me wide eyed with fear.

I simply raised an eyebrow as if it was the norm and he didn't get the concept. " Yeah. Two years now in fact.....Why? did you know them or something?"

" Yes! since we were young children i've known them.....but the two best vampire's.....killed?" He stares at the ground stroking his chin while in deep thought.

I completely lost track of what he was saying exactly. " Wait....Vampires? no,no....my parents were humans. Lucifer as a matter of fact killed them...."
