Chapter Eleven

An hours drive is all it was. You could tell it was getting late just by the way the sun was setting in the sky, getting closer into my future. The car stops abruptly front of a large cast iron gate that was at least sixty feet high. black of course and from what you could see from the outside, the place looked anything but inviting....slowly i start to shake. Zayba is the first to notice and quickly grabs a hold of my hand.

She whispers into my ear. " It's okay, I'm nervous too."

I know that Zayba can't see my face under this veil, but  I could feel the warmth of her smile. Gale glances  at me once more before showing the man guarding the place that he was the real prince. I watched as Gale rolled up his sleeve on his arm showing showing a birthmark that lit up instantly. The guard nods and opens the gate quickly Gale jumps back in the car and drives on through. The place was well, not what I expected at all....It was almost paradise. We drove through a little village that had so many people inside it, driving a little further we went across a bridge into a beautiful tree grove, so many flowers all around. Especilly white roses. I stared out the window in awe, trying to get a better peek I almost was leaning across Josh's lap.

Gale smiles without having to look at me. " I can see your enjoying the scenery."

I quikcly sit back down in my seat trying to hide the embarassment I was feeling inside. " Yeah. It's really nice looking."

" Well enjoy it as much as you want, because this is all yours."

I gawk at him. " this....is all mine?"

Gale drives a little faster causing the trees and the beautiful flowers to disappear instantly, In front of me was a giant castle, something you could see in fairy tales but this was legit. I have never seen anything this big since well ever! every building was white, with the colors of plants and cherry trees blooming, bringing color and life into this place. Gale looks at the place almost as in awe as I was.

I glance over at gale confused." Gale, didn't you say that you were here not too long ago?"

Gale looks over at me with a wide blue eyes. " Well...when I was here, this place had no meaning of life. It was all dark and gloomy, laughter and happiness was almost cursed out of this place. And I guess that since you've returned, life has returned here as well."

I look around at everything. " I  can't believe that this was even a different place."

Finally we pull to a stop, gale's door is opened by a servant as he helps us out each at a time. You could tell that most of the servants were sent to greet me before my actual parents would. All were dressed in black and white, you could see the traits of a vampire on all of them. Each curtsy's as I pass by I see a young  boy that must work with the animals because, you could diffidently smell it. He smiles a witty grin which was  contagious. Suddenly, opening the grand door came out a tall man who had white hair and golden eyes. At first I was unsure of who he was and a bad feeling encircled my stomach. Until Gale walks fast up to the man and hugs him.

" Ah! Ceadar my friend, its so good to see you again!" Gale chuckles out loud.

Cedar pats Gale on the back hard enough to hear. " Yes, its been too long old friend."

Of course they were long time friends, you could tell by just the was he smiled and talked with Cedar. Finally he remembered why he was here and turned to the side to introduce me.

" Cedar, this here is-".

" No need to introduce us. I can sense that she's the princess."

I start to blush. the way he said it was sexy, but weird at the same time. Never have I imagined being called an actual princess before....I come out of my thoughts when Cedar kisses my hand and bows before me.
