Chapter Ten

As I finally reach the top floor I'm nearly dying for air. I bend over breathing hard and glancing up for a second I knew I was in for a treat. Gale walks to me, guiding me with his hand in the middle of my back. I glance around to see water running? and he has electricity?

" Okay! how did you get water to run? that makes no sense Gale."

Gale grins at me and moves his hand showing off everything." let's just say that i'm awesome. That's all you need to know right now."

I glance at gale as I look at the fresh water, never have I seen an actual bath that worked....considering it was in one of the spas that were in the mall. There stood Zayba smiling, I walk to her glancing  at a bath that had flower petals in it. The smell was of lilacs, have I almost died and went to heaven.

I look over to Gale. " Is....is this all for me?"

Gale smiles. " Well, for you and Zayba of course. It's got everything here to get you two ready."

Zayba walks towards Gale and I. " But, then whose going to do hair and makeup if I'm relaxing with Erin?"

Gale stands there for a moment until he says," Des Ange's De lumière viennent." and before you knew it two glowing women appear. both have white hair and grey eyes, Zayba and I are so amazed that our mouths hang open. If you could imagine they probably thought we were pchyco or something.

" Gale.....who are these-"

" Servants from my home. They'll help you get ready while I finish last minute arrangements."

Zayba is still shocked. " well, okay it's just-"

I'm getting pissed off. " let me get one thing straight! so you can summon girls anywhere anytime?"

Gale stands there smirking at me. Can he tell that I'm a little jealous? he walks two steps closer to me and whispers," only sometimes. but on special occasions I get special girls."

I can't believe he just said that to me! what an ass! my face was diffidently turning red, but not because i was embarrassed at all! I was about to walk after him until Zayba dragged me back to the tubs and motioned for us to relax. " ugh! fine. only because it smells.....so good."

Both of us quickly undress after gale leaves and jump straight into the scented baths. A woman on either side scrubbing us down and washing our hair. quickly they started to do our hair, both curled but mine was down and Zayba's was up. Talking like we had all the time in the world. I glanced at the girl doing my hair and asked a question I shouldn't of.

" So, you work for Gale is that right?"

The girl looks up wide eyed, " yes."

" Then I want to ask you something.....about gales past...."

both girls stop what their doing, glance at each other and continues on. " you want to know about the princes past? well....its hard to say exactly, some of it was wonderful and happy......others, well.....not so much."

My eyes fall, " I see. well i'm sorry i brought up the stupid question."

the girl smirks. " its alright. of course a princess wants to know more about the prince she's soon to marry."

Zayba turns to me quickly. " WHAT? marriage?!"

I put my hands up for defense against Zayba if she tried to attack me, which her eyes said they would kill me. " It's not like that! Gale and I are just  friends that it." Why would Zayba get so defensive over that? does she like gale? nah...that's not her type of guy.  When the girls finish curling our hair they set us in hair dryers that only take thirty minutes. I grab a seventeen magazine that was published at least the day before Armageddon happened, I look to see the best new thing and of course it was the trends of the 70's and 80's......who knew that bell bottoms would be so popular? I of course stayed away from that trend.
