Chapter Eighteen

I can't believe that it's already been three months since everything has happened....it only feels like yesterday when I found out that I was a princess.....let alone a vampire. I guess anything can happen with a happy ending. I glance into the mirror with my hair down and curled for a nice look, I have my veil with a small hair Jewel that my mother lended me. I zip up the dress and start  fluffing out the dress.

My father comes in knocking on the door. He smiles with his eyes lit up like the stars outside." Well...are you ready?"

 I nod smiling at him. He stares at me from head to toe,"Must I say, you look beautiful!" he pecks my forehead and I smile.

" I can't help that I got your good looks papa." we both laugh smiling at eachother. I see Zayba standing in her short cocktail dress that is emerald green. We get set as the door opens for Zayba and quickly closing behind her.

We stare at eachother and finally it happens. The doors open and everyone stands in a circling seat arrangement, I walk down the aisle with my father to a beautiful song played on Cedars flute. Yes he seriously does play the flute. I smile at everyone else who is dressed in white and gold they all nod and bow, smiling back at me.

All I can see is Zayba standing on my left side and on the otherside I see Gale, Josh and Marcus smiling. Gale smiling the biggest, we both blush at eachothers presence. I stare at his features, his blonde hair and blue eyes make is suite almost transparent.

I finally reach him at the bottom of the podium. My father raises the veil from my face and kisses my cheek, Gale walks down to me and walks with me up the steps, we both stare into eachothers eyes smiling happily.

The process almost seemed to take forever, vows went on as directed.....our promises....we exchange rings and Josh smiles at me happily. When it got to the final part Gale's mother smiles softly.

" By the power of God and I Queen of the Angelic's approval of this marriage.....I now pronounce you Husband and wife."

Right as she said that Gale pulled me close to him by my waist and we kissed passionately for a moment. I smile big which makes the smile fall apart. Everyone cheers, clapping excitedly. Gale and I walk down the steps and into the Ballroom where all the other guest joined us. Happily we danced the night away and before it got too late Gale pulled me out to  my garden, the hidden part, out there he had a piece of our wedding cake and some champagne.

I smile at him but the surprise wasn't over yet......He pulls out a white rose and I smile in awe.

" I've been meaning to give this to you....and since you didn't get it at our first meeting, I thought it would be more appropriate to give it to you now!" 

I snicker and smile softly at him. " I gladly except your rose. For a token of my affection of course!"

That Night I could not be more or less ecstatic.......I have truly found my soul mate that is to be called my own.....I have found someone who loves me as much as I love him! and nothing can change it.

We danced the night away and ending it with a passionate kiss, him pulling me close and I almost smile because who knew he could be such a flirt. I pull apart from him and start to run off as he chases me around. Having fun like we had all the time in the world.
