Chapter Eight

 Guessing by how dark it was in the building It was probably midnight, early morning....it started to happen again....the feeling I can't control. The need for blood. I can feel my body change and slowly I start to lose my mind as I transform from human into a blood thirsty vampire.

No, I can't hurt my friends! I need to get out of here....I need to get as far away as possible!

Quickly I jump out of bed and run towards the opening to the rest of the mall, the security gate was down so slowly I open it only for it to creak really loud, I turn back to check the others. I'm surprised that no one even stirred at all. I slip out and run towards the farthest end of the mall, trying to stay sane for just a little bit longer. 

My blood is rushing quickly in my system, my heart pounds harshly against my chest, I slowly slide to the floor in American Eagle curled up in the feeble position trying to keep myself together, only to fall apart even faster. The pain is so excruciating that  I yell out in pain so loud that it echoes all through the mall.

At first no one stirs, suddenly Gale gets up and runs to the bed I was sleeping in. He begins to breath harder then he was before.

" Oh shit!" He quickly looks around and glances at the opening I made in the gate and runs through it towards where my screams were coming from.

I start to shake, my blood slows as I start to go down in temperature. My hands claw at myself only to feel the pain I was inflicting on myself. My mind starts to go all over the place, I can't control the erge much further.......my mind is gone, the monster inside me has taken over me.

I start to wonder, walking slowly trying to find something to satisfy me, only the manikins that are stuffed, I rip it open and bite all over to get something. But all it is is a stuffed manikin. My blood boils inside of me making me furious, the manikin flies across the room almost hitting Gale. He stands in the doorway with a serious look, his fists tighten.

" I thought I told you and your de.....demon....friends...t-to....' he lossens and has a composed look on him. " So its you....Erin."

Right as he said my name I turn my head to his direction, I smile maliciously towards him licking my lips.

" Food....I need.....FOOD!" I hiss loudly.

Gale takes a couple of steps towards me, I hiss in attack mode until he unbuttons his shirt all the way to the point where his chest was showing. He points at his neck and gestures the other hand for me to come.

" Here. Have some of my blood."

The desire for me to drink was so strong, I couldn't control myself, quickly I walked up to him and he pulls me close to where I can bite him on the neck. Before I lean in I look into his blue eyes, they weren't blue anymore....they turned green. I smile and lean in quickly biting his neck, at first he jerked at the pain but relaxed.so sweet and suculant! 

After I finish I pull away, he dosen't even look close to being effected, I stare at him with my knees against my chest. His blood rushing through me. He only smiles at me softly.

" Was it to your liking?"

I nod quickly from the energy.

Gale laughs lightly which makes me smile. " Good." 

Reaching into his pocket he pulls out a bandage and puts it on his neck. I begin to smile but it all changes when my heart beats against my chest, I grab my chest tightly and fall to the ground. Gale crawls next to me, sits me up so my back is to his chest, he holds me tightly. I begin to feel furious clawing at him.
