Louis: I rolled over in bed to check the clock placed on the nightstand, having been awoken by a loud shriek coming from downstairs. 8:00 AM. I groaned rolling back over and burying my face back into the pillow. “Y/N! No!” I heard the shriek again, followed by a loud squeal and a fit of giggles. What is going on? I thought as I pulled myself out of bed to investigate the ruckus. I trudged down the stairs, fisting the sleep out of my tired eyes. When I got to the last step I peeked into the living room in search of my girlfriend and was immediately smacked in the face with this overwhelming bubbling feeling in the pit of my stomach. There on the living room floor was a little girl, Y/N’s two year old niece, sprawled out on her back with Y/N hovering over her blowing raspberries onto her stomach. Y/N/N had tears of joy running down her face and she tried to push Y/N’s face away from her tiny body, squealing when Y/N wouldn’t move. Y/N caught sight of me out of the corner of her eye and looked at me, the broadest smile I’d ever seen on her face, “morning Lou,” She giggled. I let out a breath I hadn’t known I was holding in, the butterflies still rapidly moving in my stomach. I couldn’t move or speak or even blink, because all I could do was think about how amazing of a mother she’d be to our children one day
Harry: I bounced around on stage, sweat trickling down my temple and a large grin upon my lips. The lights went dim as the song finished and we rushed off stage for a quick clothing change and hair touch up. I plopped myself down into the stylist chair facing the mirror, Lou quickly going to work with my hair. Suddenly there was a loud thump and a moment of silence before the shrill screams of Lux filled the room. Lou whipped around to find her child but immediately stop in her place. Curiosity got the better of me and I turned the chair around. There was Y/N scooping little Lux up into her arms, making shushing noises and rocking back and forth. “What happened sweetheart? Did you hurt yourself? Where does it hurt baby girl?” She cooed, craning her head down to hear the tiny voice through her tears. Lux lifted her small hand to touch her forehead which had turned an angry red. “Awe, here baby, let’s go get you some ice and mommy can kiss it better, okay?” She spoke softly, bringing Lux toward us so Lou could see her daughter. After Lou kissed her forehead, Y/N went off with Lux in search of ice. Lou leaned down into my ear, noticing I had watched the whole scene with adoration in my eyes and whispered, “she’s so wonderful with Lux. She’s going to be a wonderful mother one day. Be good to her Harry, she’s a keeper.” With that she put the last bit of spray into my hair, patted my shoulder and winked at me through the mirror before turning to walk away; leaving me with butterflies in my stomach and my mouth ajar.
Niall: The Sun was shining and the sky was clear and it was an extraordinarily beautiful summer day. I was sat at a round table in my mother’s backyard, a cold glass resting in my hand. I looked around the yard, familiar faces of distant family members everywhere. My brother was stationed at the grill, beer in one hand talking to an uncle of ours. My mum was running around like a chicken without a head panicking over silly things. And farther in the distance I could see a few of my younger cousins running in circles, immersed in an intense game of tag. I felt a presence settle into the seat next to me and I turned to meet the eyes of my uncle. “So, Niall, happy to finally be home?” I looked away from him again, Y/N’s loud laughter catching my attention. There she was, across the yard chasing the small children. She ran extra slow to compensate for their much smaller legs. She reached out touching the arm of my cousin who shouted in surprise and fell to the floor in a pile of laughter. I could feel the grin that fell upon my lips just watching her as she interacted with my younger family members. I turned back to my uncle, large smile still plastered on my face, “yeah, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
Liam: “Babe! I’m home!” I called into the dark house. I had just gotten home from an incredibly long day of work and couldn’t wait to cuddle up with my beautiful girlfriend and just pass out. I found it a bit odd when I got no response. I silently made my way through our house and slowly opened the door to our bed room. A smile instantly took over my face at what I found. Y/N was curled up into a ball wrapped around her baby cousin, holding her protectively into her chest. Her long deep breaths and the steady rise and fall of her chest told me they were both peacefully asleep. I quickly and quietly changed out of my clothes and slipped into bed next to them. I reached up and brushed a bit of hair away from Y/N’s face and gently ran my fingers over the outline of her lips. I then reached over and placed a small kiss onto her forehead before scooting closer to them but making sure to leave enough room for the small baby between us. I placed my large hand on Y/C/N’s tiny back, rubbing soothing circles and hummed a small tune. I drifted off to sleep imagining our future together and the possibility of one day, having this be our child snuggled between us
Zayn: Yeah mum, it’s no problem.” I smiled at my mother as she dropped Safaa off at our house. Safaa ran straight passed me and into the house calling for Y/N. “Wow, hello to you too!” I smiled over my shoulder although she was already long gone in her search for Y/N. “Bye mum, have fun today. Call me when you’re going to come get her.” I said from my spot in the doorway, watching as she waved and climbed into her car and pulled away. I turned back into the house, slowly shutting the front door behind me. I followed the sounds of quiet chatter into the kitchen where I found Y/N hovering over the stove, apron wrapped around her, stirring ingredients into a large pot. Safaa was sat atop the counter asking Y/N a million questions. “Why are you putting that in it?” or “What does that do? Does it taste good?” I stood in the doorway watching as Y/N kept her perfect smile answering every single question that was asked, never losing her patience or becoming frustrated. After a while Safaa got bored of watching Y/N cook and announced that she was going to watch T.V until meal time. I crept up behind my stunning girlfriend and wrapped my arms around her waist, planting small kisses at the base of her neck. I could feel her smiling and she leaned back against me. “You’re so good with kids, especially her. I don’t know how you do it and not lose your patience.” I mumbled into her neck, burying my face there and rocking us back and forth. She sighed in contentment. “I can’t wait till we have our own one day.” I added. She turned slowly in my arms, placing a hand on my chest and looking up at me, a huge smile spread across her face. “You really mean that?” She whispered and I nodded, adorning a smile to match hers. “Ew guys! I’m still here ya know!” We heard Safaa call from the doorway, giggling Y/N turned back around to the stove and shut it off. “Okay, food is ready!”
