ouis: Alice was sitting watching cartoons with you and Louis, when Louis turned to you and nodded, signaling he was ready to tell her. “Hey, Alice?" He said, and she turned her head to look up at him. “Yeah, Daddy?" “How would you like a baby brother or sister?" He asked her cautiously. Her smile widened and she nodded excitedly. “Can it be a baby sister? I really need another tea party guest." You both giggled. “No promises on it being a girl, but you’d be okay with that?" You asked. “Yep!" “Good. But you’re going to have to wait a few months for the baby to get here, okay?" “Okay! But," She furrowed her eyebrows in thought. “Why is it going to take so long? Where does the baby come from?" You and Louis shared a panicked look. Here we go…
Harry: You and Harry had been married for five years now and had a beautiful baby girl, Darcy. Darcy was four and spoiled rotten. You had just found out you were having another child. As you and Harry walk into her room to tell her the good news, you had a gut feeling she wouldn’t take it well. “Hey Darcy, can mummy and I tell you something?” Harry said, kneeling down to be eye level with her. “Sure daddy, what is it?” “Well, you’re going to have a new baby brother or sister soon. Isn’t that great?” He asked with hopeful eyes. Darcy blinked a couple of times before looking up at you, her green eyes wide. “Will I have to share my room?” She asked. You let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding in, “No sweetie, the baby will get the spare room” you told her walking over and kneeing in front of her too. “Then I’m okay with it” Darcy said turning back over to her toys. Harry looked over at you and said “That was easy”. You laughed and nodded your head back in agreement.
Niall: You and Niall already had a six year old son, Justin, but were expecting another baby. “How are we gonna tell him” Niall asked you. You looked around the house trying to figure out a way to tell him. “Ohh wait...maybe we could tell him using food!” you exclaimed. “Yeah, like spell it out using candy or something!” Niall added with a huge smile. So ten minutes later you had spelled out ‘you’re going to be a big brother’ in M&M’s. You brought Justin into the kitchen and told him to read the M&M note on the counter. With a little bit of help from Niall he read the candy message. “So...I’m going to be a big brother?” Justin asked. “Yes, are you happy?” you asked holding up to thumbs. “YESSSSSS!!!” he screamed running around the house. You giggled a little bit and went to go sit on Niall’s lap. “He took that well” Niall said looking into your eyes” “Yes, yes he did” you say kissing him sweetly.
Liam: “Taylor, remember how you asked for a baby brother?" You asked your daughter as you all sat in the living room, getting ready to watch Toy Story for the millionth time. “Mhmm! And you said ‘we’ll see’." “Exactly." you laughed. “Well, in a few months, you’re going to have one!" Liam explained. Her eyes widened. “Really? Oh, I can’t wait to tell Lily! He can play with us and James!" She exclaimed. “He can come to the wedding!" You raised an eyebrow and quickly looked to Liam. “What wedding?" You asked her. “Me and James are getting married." She shrugged. You burst out laughing, and Liam looked extremely confused as to how he should feel about this revelation.
Zayn: “Aiden, can you come here for a minute?" Zayn called to your 4 year old son. “What is it, daddy?" He asked. “You know how we said you might get a baby brother or sister?" He nodded excitedly. “Well, you’re going to have to wait about 6 more months for her to get here, but you’re going to have a baby sister soon!" “Really? I’m going to get a baby sister?" You nodded, laughing with Zayn at your son’s excitement. “I’m going to share my toys with her- do you think she’ll like Superman?- and I’ll protect her if anyone’s mean to her, or won’t share the swings…"
