Louis: Your face was almost completely hidden in Louis' jacket, your hand clasped tightly in his as you walked into the tattoo parlor. "This is probably going to hurt a lot, isn't it?" you mumbled. Louis just chuckled as he placed a kiss to your forehead. "Not too much. I mean, I handled all of these, didn't I?" he said, rolling up his sleeves to reveal the inkings along his skin. You managed a weak smile and nodded, but Louis could sense you were still nervous. "Babe," he started, tilting your chin up to meet his gaze, "There's nothing to worry about. I'll be there to hold your hand the whole time, and it'll be over before you know it, okay?" Then, as if to reassure you, he leaned down and kissed you softly.
Harry: "Eyes on me," Harry instructed in a firm voice. The needle had barely begun to graze your skin and your eyes were already squeezed shut in pain. You shook your head. "Y/N," he coaxed gently, tapping your nose. You couldn't help but comply too his wishes, eyes slowly opening to meet his. A smile graced his features as he peered down at you. "You're doing so well, baby," he murmured. "No, I'm not. I'm about ten seconds away from bursting into tears," you groaned. Hearing this, Harry just chuckled and shook his head. "Not while I'm doing this," he said as he started showering your face with dozens of little kisses, earning a few giggles from you as he did so.
Niall: You sighed, chewing your bottom lip nervously as you knotted your fingers together. "What's wrong, babe?" Niall asked when he caught sight of your expression. "I still can't decide if I want the dream catcher to be across my rib cage or shoulder blade," you replied with a frown. He smirked. "Why don't you just get my name tattooed across your bum?" he suggested. "I'm serious, Niall!" You gave him an annoyed look, to which he responded with a chuckle. "Sorry, er, I mean...Maybe across your shoulder blade? I hear rib cage tattoos are pretty painful," he said, cringing at the thought. You couldn't help but giggle, "I think all tattoos are supposed to be painful, Ni."
Liam: "Erm, Y/N, maybe this isn't such a good idea." Liam's worried tone caused you to turn around, eyeing him curiously. "What do you mean? I thought you were fine with it," you questioned. Your boyfriend sighed, venturing a brief glance in your direction. "I just don't want you to make a mistake," he spoke quietly. He was obviously much more nervous about this than you were, and you couldn't blame him; he'd already been through the same thing and was trying to protect you. "Li, I know getting a tattoo is a big decision, but you'll just have to trust me on this...Do you trust me?" you asked. Liam nodded without hesitation. "Then let's do it," you smiled, leading him inside the tattoo shop.
Zayn: Actually, the two of you were going in to get matching tattoos. It was Zayn's idea in the first place, and eventually, you'd agreed to do it. Yes, you were pretty scared about it, unsure of the whole concept to get someone else's initials permanently tattooed on your wrist. But you trusted Zayn, and deep down, you knew the two of you were ready for something like this. So you walked into the parlor confidently, hand in hand with your boyfriend, who was pretty excited. "You're absolutely certain you want to do this, love?" he asked, turning towards you. You nodded and smiled up at him. "Positive," you reassured him as you stood on your tip toes to peck his lips.
