Louis: Louis always makes angry faces whenever he is told to go on vocal rest because he can't speak. You decided to put Louis on your living room couch and put in a funny movie for you two to watch. Whenever you would laugh, Louis would smile and start tickling you just to hear you laugh more. He would tickle you until it is hard for you to breathe and your laughter would be so contagious that Louis would try not to laugh but he will eventually fail and you know he shouldn't be laughing but you don't care because you've always been told that laughter is the best medicine.
Harry: Harry has been sick with a terrible cold the past couple of days so Harry got put on vocal rest in order to save his voice for a concert that he has in a few days. You have been running around the house trying to clean, pack for Harry and take care of him, yet Harry still managed to sneak out of your bed and wrap his arms around your waist from behind to carry you to your bed. You tried your hardest to get him to let you go but he would just kiss you to get you to stop talking. After not much convincing, you were wrapped in Harry's arms as his favorite movie played.
Niall: Vocal rest for Niall was always hard for him because as we all know, he loves to talk and sometimes you think he talks just to hear himself talk. Since he was sick and leaving for tour shortly, you demanded him to stay in bed and you sat right next to him as you played on your laptop. Niall would constantly be on his phone doing god knows what and he would laugh what felt like every 5 minutes at some stupid picture he found and he would sound like a dying walrus. You would just roll your eyes jokingly and giggle before leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek
Liam: You had given your cold to Liam but somehow it seemed that Liam got it way worse then you did. Liam would mope around your apartment sighing since he wasn't allowed to talk. Liam knew that you didn't give this to him on purpose but you still felt bad that he wasn't feeling well. Liam also hated asking you for things so you knew that making Liam stay in bed would be impossible. Liam insisted on helping you with everything that he normally does but he just does it now without talking.
Zayn: You never really know when Zayn is on vocal rest since he always sleeps whenever he is sick. Apparently during a break during the boys' tour, Zayn had gotten sick and his vocal coach put him on vocal rest. As soon as he got home, he greeted you with a tight hug and a kiss on your forehead before slowly making his way upstairs to take a shower and crawl into bed. You took care of him whenever he needed something to eat or needed more medicine and before you knew it, Zayn was back to his old self.
