Louis: You nervously anticipate the drop as the cart climbs up the track. “Are you ready?” Louis asks you with excitement in his voice. You feel the cart reach the top and start to fall forward. Your scream gets stopped short when you realize that the cart has stopped in the middle of the drop. “What the hell?” you look at Louis who looks just as confused as you are. This isn’t supposed to happen. You hear a voice come over the intercom “SORRY FOR THE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. THE RIDE SHOULD BE WORKING AGAIN ANY SECOND NOW.” Just as the intercom clicks off your breath is taken away by the sudden movement of the cart again. You scream louder than you ever have before. The ride finally comes to a stop. “That was scary” you tell Louis as you exit the ride. “Are you kidding me? That was the most fun ride I have ever been on!”
Harry: “I can’t wait!” Your daughter squeals as she waits in line for a roller coaster. She tugs on Harry’s hand as she jumps up and down with excitement. It is her fifth birthday and you and Harry decided that you wanted to take her to Six Flags for her birthday. She is finally tall enough to ride most of the rides she couldn't last year. “I know, love, but you need to calm down we are almost there” Harry smiles down at his daughter. The attendant starts to let people in the ride but stops you when he sees Charlotte, your daughter. “Stand against here” the attendant holds a yard stick up so he could measure her. She stands right below the line that says she is tall enough. “Nope. You can’t ride. Maybe next time.” He holds the exit door open for us to leave. I see Harry clench his fist. “Come on, man it’s her birthday” he tries to persuade the staff member. The boy just shrugs his shoulders. “Seriously? We have been waiting for an hour just for you to tell us that she is slightly not tall enough!” Harry starts to yell at the boy. “She is almost at the line! Let her through!” Harry gets in his face. The boy gets a little scared and opens up the gate to the ride. Harry nods and I tell him “Thank you.” “Thanks Daddy” Charlotte looks up at Harry and puckers up her lips. Harry bends down and she kisses him on the cheek.
Niall: The roller coaster jerks you in every which way. Niall holds onto your hand tightly knowing that this is your first roller coaster. You shut your eyes waiting for the ride to be over. You feel the ride slow down and eventually come to a complete stop. Your stomach turns inside you. Your vision starts spinning. You know you are about to be sick. The bar that holds down you and Niall releases as you shoot up out of the cart and head toward the nearest trash can. You feel your insides clench as you puke into the trash can. Niall puts his hand on your back and rubs it up and down to comfort you. You wipe your mouth and look at Niall, “I don’t think I like roller coasters.”
Liam: Dread washes over you as you count five people in front of you. You do not want to go on this ride. You’ve been trying to keep strong because you know Liam really wants to go on this ride. He has been looking forward to it all day. They start to let people onto the ride and panic sets in. “I’m so sorry Liam. I can’t do this. You can go ahead and I’ll watch.” You attempt a smile at him. Liam looks at you with worry “No babe we can just skip this ride. I would rather be with you.” He kisses your forehead and holds your hand as you walk out the exit of the ride.
Zayn: “Shit” you hear Zayn mutter under his breath repeatedly. “Babe, are you okay?” you chuckle a little bit at the sight of Zayn freaking out. “Yeah I’m fine” Zayn’s voice cracks a little. I laugh really loud and he just looks at you like you’re crazy. “If you don’t want to go on the ride then we don’t have to.” Zayn hesitates for a couple of minutes “Okay let’s go.” You smile at him as he leads you back out the line.
