Louis: You’d been married for a few years now and you were both settled onto the bed with your little six year old. He’d been begging you to watch the old classic ‘Monsters Inc.’ and finally you gave in. It had been so long since you’d seen it; it had been the movie that you and Louis watched on your second date. As it got closer to the scene where Louis had leaned over and kissed you for the first time, you began to tear up, thinking of all the memories since then and that had just been the start of them all. “Babe, are you crying?" He looked over at you and then glanced down at your sleeping son between the two of you. “I’m just remembering, getting a bit emotional." And then just like that moment all those years ago, he leaned over and kissed you.
Harry: Lion King had always been your movie so even on a day of such tragedy as the one where your grandfather passed away, you wanted to watch it. Harry pulled you tight against his body, knowing that you would need his comfort. You started out the movie crying but when it got to the scene where Mufasa was dead and Simba was crying, you started sobbing into Harry’s shoulder while he hugged you tightly, letting you just cry all of your tears. For most of the movie you were softly crying until it got to the scene where Timon had to distract the hyena’s by ‘dressing in drag and doing the hula.’ Then you started laughing because it had always been your favorite scene, but still happy tears poured down your face
Niall: Now you’d seen Tarzan a hundred times before and it wasn’t a particularly sad movie even on your worst days when you would cry if the sun went behind a cloud. Yet for some reason when you were feeling sick and lying there in the bed with it playing on the TV, you just burst out in tears at a part that wasn’t even remotely sad. That’s when Niall walked into the room. “Y/N, are you okay?" He crawled onto the bed beside you, wiping at your tears with the rough pad of his thumb. “Yeah I’m fine I just - I don’t know. I just got really teary there for a second." You reached up and laughed at yourself as you wiped at the tears. “I’m better now. But I think I want to watch a new movie." He nodded and got up to put a different movie on.
Liam: It was just a night in sort of date to keep away from the fans since your relationship was so new. The two of you were cuddled on the couch watching movies when you decided to watch to watch Toy Story 3 next because you hadn’t seen it before. Liam knew that you were feeling sort of emotional that day already, but he put the movie in anyway, walking back to the couch and wrapping you up in his arms. By the end of the movie when Andy gave away the toys, you were bawling your eyes out, burying your face in Liam’s t-shirt. “It’s so sad! Like, those are his toys and he’s giving them away. He’s all grown up. I can’t take this. Oh my Gosh." Liam just smiled at your adorableness and rubbed his hand up and down your arm.
Zayn: He’d just returned home from touring in another country, so you pulled him close and didn’t let him go. He tangled your limbs together with his and you both sat on the couch to cuddle together and watch Aladdin. When it got to the part where Aladdin took Jasmine for a ride on the magic carpet, Zayn pulled you over so that you were sitting between his legs with his chest pressed against your back while he quietly sang the song in your ear, “I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide? I can open your eyes, take you wonder by wonder." And suddenly he was holding something in front of you, a little glittering thing perched on top of a silver band. “You’ll let me show you a whole new world won’t you?" He asked softly. You nodded your head eagerly and he slid the ring onto your finger as the movie screen blurred before your eyes from the tears.
