Louis: It was Jay's birthday, so you and Louis went to visit her and Louis's sisters. You and Louis had been married for a little over a year now, and so far no one's brought up having children. Of course, both of you knew for sure you wanted kids one day, just not when you wanted them exactly. You were sat around the dining room table with the entire family when jay piped up, "Have you two talked about children yet?" Immediately, you start blushing and scramble for an answer. You look to Louis, thinking he'd take over for you, but he's silently watching you and waiting for your response like the rest of the family. "Uh, um, no, we haven't, I guess," you stutter, stuffing a bite of chicken into your mouth in hope that they'd drop the topic. "Well do you want kids, Y/N?" Louis presses. You swallow with difficult and take a deep breath. There's no point in avoiding it. "Of course!" you answer. Almost instantly, Louis's lips curve up into the widest grin you've seen him wear since you agreed to marry him. He kisses your cheek and throws his arm around you, pulling you into a side hug. As your little moment with Louis unfolds, the whole table erupts in a chorus of cheers and, "I hope it's a girl/boy! What are you gonna name it?" Louis waves his hand as a motion to calm his family. "Easy with the questions, everyone," he chuckles. Jay takes a quick sip of her drink and adds, "Also, can you wait until you go back to your house before you start making it?" This makes the girls giggle and squeal, "Ew!" Louis, who's now totally red in the faces, scolds, "Mum!"
Harry: You know those days where nothing seems to be working in your favour? It's raining after a you got a car wash, you forget your lunch at home, the window washer decides to spill some suds all over you? Yeah, today was one of those days. You trudge into your house, letting your purse and jacket fall wherever they want and throwing yourself down on the couch. "Have a nice day, Kitten?" Harry jokes. He kisses your cheek and pulls at your arm, trying to lead you somewhere. "Harry, I just wanna sit," you whine. "C'mon, babe, it'll be worth it. I promise," he reassures. You groan, "Why did I marry you?" and walk over to the dining room where Harry was prepared the most amazing candlelit dinner. Gasping, you answer your own question with, "Because you're literally the best husband to ever exist." Harry chuckles and helps you into your chair. You don't hesitate to dive into the five star meal Harry spent the day cooking. "Do you like it?" he asks, making sure it's perfect for you before he gets himself comfortable. "It's absolutely amazing," you gush. A few minutes later, after your initial hunger and irritability wear off, Harry bluntly announces, "Let's have a baby." He's so nonchalant that he's even still looking down at his plate and toying with some noodles. You nearly choke on your drink. "Come again?" He shrugs. "Let's have a baby," he repeats. This time, though, he meets your bewildered expression. Even though you'd been together for years, you and Harry never really talked about family. I guess you both felt there was just an mutual understanding that one day you'd be parents together. "Do you not want children?" Harry asks, seeing you still trying to catch your breath. "No, no! Of course I want kids with you, Harry!" you assure, "I just, I don't know. I guess I thought you'd go all out. I'd come home one day, and the guest room would be a nursery." He laughs and nods. "Damn," he mutters, "Why didn't I think of that?" You shake your head and push your plate up, having finished your meal. Harry grasps your hand and rubs his thumb gently over your skin. "Why don't we start now?" he purrs.
Niall: "You guys can come in now," Greg says from the hospital room he and Denise were in. Niall looks to you and squeezes your hand before getting up and walking to meet his new nephew. Both of you are rendered speechless when you walk in to see Denise cradling her beautiful baby boy. As you approach the hospital bed, Niall inquires ever so softly, "What's his name?" Denise matches Niall's pitch and replies without a moment's hesitation, "Zeus. Zeus Horan." For a while you all just sit and simply admire the newborn, watching his eyes flutter open and sink closed, listening to his tiny breath and little sneezes. You scoot closer to Niall and rest your head on his shoulder. He gives you a smile and wraps his arms around you. "Do you want to hold him, Niall?" Denise asks. Niall nods ferociously but with a hint of hesitation. Slowly and ever so gently, Denise passes Zeus into Niall's arms. "Y/N, you can hold him to," Denise adds. Niall rocks the baby back and forth and coos at it. "Hey, little mate, I'm here Uncle Niall," he gushes. Looking over to you, he smiles and you nod, understanding his gesture. He hands Zeus over to you. As you carefully hold him, Niall comes up behind you and wraps his arms around you. Greg says proudly, "You two are going to make amazing parents one day." You look to Niall, asking him with your eyes if he wants to be a dad. He just smiles and squeezes your waist tighter. "Yeah," he says, "Yeah, we are."
Liam: Since Liam's sisters were in town, he sent you out on a girl's day with them. "My wife has to be close to my family!" he'd insisted. You playfully rolled your eyes at him but went out anyways. At around three o'clock in the afternoon, you returned home. "Liam?" you called, seeing he wasn't anywhere downstairs. Confused, you trot upstairs and begin your search. Nothing. The last room to check is the guest room. You turn the knob to see Liam standing by a crib and smiling sheepishly. "What do you think?" he asks, after giving you a moment to let it soak in. You walk over to the crib and let your fingers glide over the wood. The idea of having children scared you; what if you messed up? "Liam," you murmur, "I can't... I'm scared." His smile falls and he moves over you to wrap his arms around your waist. "Of what?" he asks. You shrug and sigh heavily. "I'm afraid I'll screw up," you admit. Liam laughs loudly, causing you to shoot him a what-the-hell look. "Y/N, you're going to be the best mom in the world. You're great with kids. Lux absolutely adores you," Liam gushes. Slowly you nod. "I like the crib a lot," you say, walking all the way around it to look at it. Suddenly, you stop and look to Liam. "You'll be there to catch me if I stumble, right?" you ask, the fear and reluctance evident in your eyes and tone. Liam firmly sets his hands on your waist. "Of course."
Zayn: Today was Zayn's day off, and you two decided to spend it as a lazy day. You contentedly sighed and plopped down on the couch next to Zayn who is currently watching a Law & Order marathon. Cuddling into his side, you reach for your book and open it to your spot. What you see catches you a tad off guard. Zayn had put a sticky note on the page that read, "I want a baby." Hearing your small gasp, Zayn chuckles. "I see you got my note," he states, turning towards you. You nod, never taking your eyes from the words. I guess you stayed silently for a while, because Zayn piped, "Well. What do you say, babe? Do you want a baby? I mean, we've been married for a couple years now, and I just thought..." Eventually, you smile and look up to Zayn. "I'll have a baby with you, Zayn," you say, "But only on one condition." Zayn crooks his head, a smirk appearing on his face. You'd been with him for years, of course he knew what was coming. But still, he asks the inevitable question, "And what would that condition be?" You cross your arms and grin. "I get to decorate the nursery." Zayn chuckles and kisses your forehead. "Your wish is my command," he jokes, bowing to you.
