Sophie jumped in fright when Mr Arrow began shouting the Captain's orders, he was literally perfect for the role as he shouted to the crew. She relaxed again and gripped the ropes as she watched the bustling port below, some of the ship enthusiasts – who literally did nothing but watch ships launch all day, every day – stood below and peered up at the 'RLS Legacy'. Sophie was used to the order of a ship launch, first it would begin to power up as the solar sails were released, then the ship would rise higher into the air causing loss of gravity until it was reinstated again. Finally, the part which made her stomach flip each and every time, the ship would accelerate.

Jim, new to all of this, didn't know where to look, turn or stand. Finding that he was in the way of the crew, none of which were sympathetic to the new crew member, his eyes caught the shimmer of blonde hair. Sophie, was sitting comfortably in the shrouds watching the sky, he frowned despite his stomach stirring strangely – wondering why she wasn't helping since she was a part of the crew. It was then he noticed she had changed clothes and her hair was in a more relaxed style. Jim's thoughts were interrupted when the gravity disappeared, gasping a small sound of fright as he slowly rose into the air. The blonde, however, felt her ponytail rise into the air, making it more messy than it already was, stayed in her position – knowing how to not be too much affected by the loss of gravity. She sighed when Mr Snuff engaged the artificial gravity, her stomach flipped in excited anticipation – the ship was about to launch! A grin spread across her face, aware of the Orcus Galacticus floating in their schools nearby, the familiar buzz of excitement was still there even though she had been sailing most of her life. Jim felt a smile tug onto his lips, immediately dismissing that it was because of Sophie and mentally declaring it was because of the excitement of going to Treasure Planet. For some unknown reason to him, he moved towards the shrouds that the blonde cultural advisor was perched at. "Hey." He said simply, a hand in his jacket pocket. "Hello, oh you may want to stay down there a second. The accelerating force may damage your arms if you try climbing now." Sophie smiled, despite being put off by the blank expression on Jim's face. He simply nodded and strangely – even to him – did as he was told, finding that the blonde was right about the force pulling at him, but he felt secure soon enough, climbing up beside her. "It's amazing, isn't it?" Sophie grinned, turning her head to face the brunette, "Yeah." He responded dully, though his eyes gleamed the same awe as Sophie's. He climbed up a bit higher, wanting to savour every moment of the launch, though his eyes kept drifting to the smiling blonde below, she wasn't doing anything overly special but he was still fascinated with her movements."Woah." He awed, half looking between Sophie and the Orcus Galacticus.

Soon, the ship was moving along comfortably, with a small sigh, Sophie jumped down from the shrouds and went to the stateroom to prepare Amelia and Arrow's tea. Before she entered the room, she turned to see Jim moving around on the shrouds – hoping he'd come down soon before Amelia yelled at him. "Boys will be boys." She muttered with a small shake of the head. For once, Sophie managed to make the tea without knocking over anything or spilling any tea. "That is an achievement for you, Miss Pennant." Amelia smirked, entering the room with Mr Arrow. "Thank you, Captain. I hope you enjoy your tea, may I be dismissed?" Sophie smiled awkwardly, her cheek burning red from embarrassment. Not enjoying having her clumsy personality pointed out, even if it was praising that it didn't show. "Wonderful, Mr Arrow, don't you agree?" Amelia commented, after a sip. "Agreed, thank you, Miss Pennant." He replied gently, sending the teenager a small smile. "Ah, yes. Your duties, Mr Arrow – you were supposed to remind me, cannot get the First Mates nowadays." Amelia fretted, her banter with the second in command coming forth. "I am sorry, Captain." He apologised, the feline merely waved her hand showing she didn't really mind. "Now, Sophie. You will be a cabin girl, nothing too needful of precision but I expect high standards. Report to Mr Silver, at once." Amelia instructed, dismissing the blonde who nodded and scampered out of the room.
