Silver wandered the deck, hushing Morph every now and then, he was wondering how to confront Jim – while he sympathised with the lad, he was ticked that he had taken his angst out on Sophie. Eventually he sauntered up to the side of the ship, leaning on the bannister – noticing that Jim hadn't moved from the shrouds and was twisting a length of rope in his hands as he stared sadly at space. "It weren't your fault, you know?" Silver said softly, he already knew how Jim would react – he'd yell loudly otherwise before he quietened down again. Seeing that he wasn't reacting the way he predicted, Silver continued to justify his statement, "Why, half the crew and Sophie would be spinning in that black abyss-" Jim's expression darkened, why did people feel the need to patronise him about this?! Angrily he threw the rope into space and jumped down from the shrouds, his heart thudding hard from anger as he felt his breathing increase."Look, don't you get it?! I screwed up! For two seconds, I thought that I maybe I could do something right, but – ARGH!" Jim shouted, getting rid of the built up anger in his system, however Silver's concerned face mirrored Sophie's and when Jim looked up at the cyborg – he just pictured making Sophie cry and turned away from Silver. He leaned on the mast, emotionally exhausted – he was a screw up and when he'd go home he'd have to explain to his mother that she had a failure in the family. "I just..." He started before sighing shakily, a hand at his eyes to stop the tears threatening to leak from his eyes,"Forget it, forget it." He spoke, wanting Silver to leave him alone.

This was familiar to Silver, Sophie was in the same emotional state earlier – maybe Jim just needed to see that someone was looking out for him. He'd grown to care for Jim as if the boy was his own son, with that thought firmly in his mind the cyborg firmly but gently took Jim's shoulder in his fleshy hand, making the teenager turn to face him. "Now, you listen to me, James Hawkins." He addressed, similar to Sophie – Jim's eyes were glassier – another wall Silver and the blonde had broken down, beneath all of the cockiness and anger, he was a young man devastated at his father leaving. "You got the makings of greatness in ya, but you gotta take the helm and chart your own course. Stick to it, no matter the squalls!" Silver spoke strongly, Jim's chest heaved faster – now seeing Silver as a father figure, a man that cared. "And when the time comes to really test the cut of your sails and show what you're made of, well, I hope I'm there... catching some of the light coming off ya that day." Silver continued, Jim didn't bother hiding his tears as Silver looked at him with love and care in his eyes. With no shame, Jim let his forehead rest on Silver's belly – looking for comfort from the cyborg. Silver's eyes widened, knowing this was not part of the plan and anyone could see this but he didn't care and embraced Jim as the teenager began to cry softly. "There, there. Lad, it's alright Jimbo. It's alright." The hug was short lived after that, he felt awkward hugging the teenager and gently pushed him away, with Jim composing himself. "Now, Jim. I um... I best be getting about my watch..." Silver coughed, his mechanical eye catching sight of Sophie quickly darting down the galley stairs. "And you best be apologising to Sophie then getting some shut eye!" He gently guided Jim towards the general direction of the galley stairs, before he stepped down them, Jim turned to face Silver who gave a small wave in response. The brunette smiled genuinely at the cyborg before trotting down the stairs – already working on his apology to Sophie.

Silver's hand retracted, his parental feelings towards the teenagers were clear to see – he hoped that no one else saw it other than Morph. He'd be a laughing stock, but he didn't care – he cared more about Jim and Sophie's fate with the mutiny but he still wanted that treasure from the long told legend of Treasure Planet. "Getting in too deep here, Morphy. Next thing ya know, they'll be saying I've gone soft." Scroop had also seen this exchange, disgustingly intrigued by Silver's affection for the two teenagers – a thorn in his side since day one, he'd been hoping that he could take out Jim as well but Silver had beaten him there first. Quickly he scuttled down the shrouds, unnoticed and sneaked into the galley – he grinned maliciously when he heard Jim call out Sophie's name. "Thissss iss going to be interesssting..." He spoke to himself.
