B.E.N's Breakdown

  Sophie was seated next to Jim, he kept a tight hold of her – not allowing anyone else but him to touch her, him or the map. She was petrified, despite feeling safer in Jim's hold, of what was going to happen next – she had no way to defend herself if the pirates turned again. "It's ok."Jim murmured in her ear, giving the blonde's clammy hands a squeeze of reassurance. Slowly Sophie shifted her eyes up to him, his blue eyes sincere with his words – Jim had really grown up and was acting like a man instead of the silent tearaway. Subconsciously, Sophie shifted closer to Jim and squeezed his hand back and attempted to hide her winces from him – last thing she wanted was for Jim to get upset that the ropes on her wrists were hurting her. She just wanted to get out of here.

The longboat came to a halt, everyone but Doppler, Amelia and the huge pirate got off, with Jim picking Sophie up by the waist, he smiled a little down at her – albeit a scared but an attempt to reassure the blonde. "I'm scared..." She whispered, her voice thick from the sudden onset of tears –it brought Jim back to Treasure Planet, he had been looking intently in to her eyes, with a soft sigh he rubbed her back as they followed behind the cyborg, Morph also whimpered in fear – he was confused with everything that had happened, torn between those who he loved most. Sophie weakly glanced at the shapeshifter, normally she'd coo over him and shower him in affection but she felt too numb to even keep herself going, Jim patted Morph in his pocket – hoping it would help. "It's ok, Morph. It's ok." He murmured, rather distracted as he watched Silver's movements whilst holding Sophie's smaller hands in his other hand. "Jimmy, I-I don't know about you... but I'm starting to see my life pass in front of my eyes!" B.E.N declared, the brunette let go of Sophie's hands to try and quieten B.E.N down knowing that he'd get louder and louder with each word. "I think it's my life." B.E.N spoke to himself, before making the teenagers and shapeshifter jump with his sudden outburst, "Was I ever dancing with an android named Lupe?!" B.E.N shouted, clutching at his metal head, Jim grabbed him from the front and lowered him down to his level, "B.E.N, shh!" He scolded with a quiet hiss, moving away from the robot to take Sophie's hands again – "This isn't over yet." The brunette muttered, eyeing Silver who was gleefully following the light that apparently led to the famous hidden treasure.

Sophie bit her bottom lip when she saw the light of the map was moving faster, they were getting close and with each step she felt more nauseous and shaky. Apparently Silver had noticed it as well, unsheathing his sword as he cut down some plants in his way, "We're getting' close lads! I smell treasure a-waitin'!" He boomed, laughing as he grabbed Jim's shirt forcing him to let go of Sophie's hands. She squeaked in fright when one of the pirates grabbed the back of her neck to force her to move along, concerned Morph nuzzled into her hands – she could feel him trembling as he whined in fear. Sophie stumbled as Silver, Jim and other pirates came to an abrupt halt. "Where is it?!" Mary shouted impatiently, the blonde winced at her voice and with the pirate's hand pressing into her neck. "I see nothing! One great, big stinking hunk of nothing!" Mr Onus shouted, with that the pirates began to get more restless – muttering and complaining. At least he was right, the trail led them to a cliff edge, stopping abruptly before the end of it – peculiar, Sophie thought. Her eyes widened when the map suddenly closed and Jim found himself unable to open it again, "What's going on, Jimbo?" Silver asked irritably, glancing at the wide eyed blonde – he'd use her as leverage again if he had to especially to get her out of the pirate's clutches. "I don't know." Jim answered, frantically pushing buttons and twisting the sphere, "I can't get it open." He was worried for Sophie and everyone else – if this map wouldn't open again then this may be the end of the line. Wed should've never followed this boy!"Mary exclaimed, hopping up angrily and practically kicking Jim in the back, sending him onto his knees, "Hey!" Jim shouted as he fell over, though it was a help since there was a strange indentation in the ground – one that seemed to fit the map perfectly. "Jim!" Sophie called, a foot further then he would've fell off the cliff, the pirate holding her tightened his hold and brought her backwards so she was pressed against his chest. "Quiet or I'll throw you over the cliff!" He growled lowly, as Silver continued the threat to Jim who was thinking away. "I suggest you get that gizmo going and fast!" 

Half ignoring Silver, Jim looked at the map – he had to figure out how to appease the pirates before they lashed out and harmed Sophie, B.E.N, Morph or himself – he just couldn't let that happen. "Let's rip his gizzard out right now!" One pirate shouted in complaint, "Throw him off the cliff!" Mr Onus shouted, Sophie and Morph screamed in fright when she was pushed onto her knees and a sword point at her throat, Jim decided to place the map in the indentation halting the pirate's threats and complaints immediately. A loud groan of rumbling sound, shaking the ground a little before a green beam of light that shot into the sky before splitting into a long triangular shape, Sophie gasped, it was a portal! "Oh have mercy..." Silver spoke in awe, Sophie pushed herself back to her feet taking advantage of the pirate's being distracted. "The Lagoon Nebula?" Jim asked to no one in particular, Sophie's dark blue eyes widened – she had seen pictures and essays of the Lagoon Nebula but never saw it in person, it was beautiful. "But that's halfway across the galaxy." Silver spoke in thought, similar to the blonde's thought pattern – was this how Captain Flint appeared and escaped undetected? Jim began to tap the holographic globe, the portal changing to reveal different places in the galaxy. Slowly, Sophie inched her way forward towards Jim, B.E.N and Morph following her. "A big door... opening and closing..." Jim murmured to himself as he looked over the holographic map. "Let's see, Kinapis... Monstressor Spaceport." Jim spoke again, this time smiling with the familiarity of home.

"So that's how Flint did it! He used this portal to roam the universe stealing treasure." Jim spoke, Sophie blinked a little – he was really intelligent though he seemed to be more interested in not being in school, from the stories he told her – he hated school and class, seeing it as a waste of time. Silver suddenly pushed Jim out of the way, making him grab Sophie's arms to stop himself falling, "But where'd he stash it all?!" Silver yelled iin frustration, frantically pushing at the holographic map to reveal different planets – some with scary creatures that made Sophie's blood run cold, "Where's that blasted treasure?!" Jim glanced at the cyborg and decided to untie Sophie, cradling her aching wrists in his hand as he used the other to untie the blonde's wrists, with help from Moprh as he turned into an icepack to lie on Sophie's red and welted wrists. Jim winced silently, blaming himself for this – he could've untied her earlier or stood up to Silver more, timidly he rubbed her wrists with his thumb. "I'm sorry. I should've-" He began before Sophie quickly pressed her lips against his, a dark blush on her cheeks."Let's just sort out this treasure nonsense first." She spoke quietly, B.E.N freaked and began to clutch at his head, "Treasure! Treasure! It's buried in the-" He exclaimed, "Buried in the centroid of the mechanism..." Jim finished, thinking over B.E.N's words. Sophie gasped suddenly looking down. "What if the planet is the mechanism?" She asked, Jim grinned widely at her."And the treasure is buried in the centre of this planet?" He finished, his thought pattern on the same level as hers. The pirates grinned with dreadful glee and began to hack and dig at the planet but came up with nothing – obviously, Sophie thought – the ground was clearly metal. Silver grew more furious with the lack of treasure, turning to the teenagers with a mean glare,"And how in blue blazes are we supposed to get there?!" He shouted, Jim smirked a little and pushed by the cyborg gently to touch the Treasure Planet holograph at the centre of the globe, "Just open the right door..." He spoke calmly, Sophie's eyes widened when the door opened to reveal Flint's Trove, or better known as 'The loot of a Thousand Worlds'. They had discovered Treasure Planet and the long lost treasure as well!
