I was preparing Laia to go home. The doctor came in about an hour ago to examine her for the last time before he gave us the okay to take her home. I couldn’t be happier. There is nothing more that I wanted than to take her home and get her out of this damn hospital. As soon as Blkae finished signing her discharge papers, we were getting out of here.
“I go home?” Laia asked as she looked up at me. She was sitting on the side of the bed as I put her on a fresh pair of clothes.
“Yup.” I responded as I nodded. “Stand up baby.”
She did as I said and I gently started pulling her shirt over her head, being careful not to bump her bandage. Just as I got her shirt on, Blake came walking through the door.
“Y’all ready?” He asked as he walked over to us.
“Just about.” I said before I sat her back down and started putting on her shoes. Just as I was putting on her last shoe, there was I soft knock at the door before it opened. I turned my head to see one of the nurses coming in.
“Hey, we were just warned that there is some paparazzi waiting for you guys outside. We just wanted to give you a heads up.”
I sighed before I looked over at Blake and shook my head. I knew this was going to happen. I finished putting her shoe on before I stood up and turned to him
“Alright. Thanks.” He said to the nurse. She nodded before she quietly left the room.
“What are we going to do because I am not going to have my baby all over the internet.”
“We’re good. Don’t worry about it.” He said before he turned to Laia. “Come on Princess.”
He grabbed her and his jacket.
“I’m going to put my jacket over your head. When we get outside, I want you to keep your head down until we get in the car. Okay?” He said to her. She nodded.
“I want my bear, daddy.” I laughed before I grabbed the bear he got her off the bed and handed it to her. She grabbed it and laid her head down on his shoulder like he asked her to. He placed his jacket over her head.
Just then, two of Blake’s security guards came in. They grabbed all her stuff and we were ready to go. Blake walked out first, I followed, and the security guards were right behind us. We walked to the elevators and made it downstairs with no mishaps but as near the front entrance, we saw the chaos. It wasn’t just the paparazzi but it appeared to be fans too. All I could do was shake my head. Who would tip people off that we were here?
Blake reached back and grabbed my hand with my free hand. He pulled me close to him. one of the security guards came to stand in front of us while the other one stayed behind us. The closer we got to the door, I could hear the noise of the fans and the camera flashes of the camera. I grabbed Blake’s hand even tighter and stepped closer to his side.
As soon as we stepped out the door, the flashes were going off the questions were being fired.
“What happened?”
“Blake, is it true that you’re sleeping with Kate Upton?”
“Are y’all back together?”
“Daniela, are you pregnant again?”
What the hell?
We ignored it all and continued to push towards the car. By time we made it there, I had a major headache. The security guard opened the door and Blake stepped back to allow me to get in. Once I was inside, Blake bent down and handed me Laia before he climbed in behind me. The driver pulled off immediately.
