Gerard's pov

As I was running I realised I couldn't hear it anymore, I couldn't hear the extra pair of feet running. Confusion and worry washed over me.

Frank glanced behind himself at me for a split second, probably noticing to.

But That didn't stop either of us running. We sprinted as fast as we could and climbed straight up the fence and fucking jumped off the other side and ran all the way down the road and didn't stop until we got to the high way.

Eventually we both stopped running, collapsing on a patch of grass near a little store. The afternoon sun shone down on us. Neither of us said anything as we caught our breathe and mentally told ourselves that we were safe now.

That's when frank leaned over and punched me in the shoulder.
"You! *pant* motherfucker." He breathed.

I let out a breathy laugh. "Hey I didn't know something was going to fucking chase us."

"Oh let's just go for a walk. To a fucking satanic worshipping ground and get chased by some fucking slender man!." He said in an exaggerated tone as he mimicked being me in the first part of his sentence.

"Okay. One...I don't sound like that..two...didn't know we were gonna end up in a place like that, just thought it'd be fun. You gotta admit, it was kinda fun." I said trying to lighten the conversation.

"Fun my ass." Frank laughed. "I hate running, my legs are too short for this crap."

I laughed and lied down on the grass staring up at the sky.

"Just promise me we are going to do something normal next time we go out." Frank said as he pulled at the grass, ripping out a few green strands.

"Ah so you want to hang out again?" I said in a teasing cheeky tone as I looked up at him from my lying down position.

"Well, yeah." He shrugged. "Just nothing weird next time."

"Frank, when has anything we've ever done together been normal and non weird?" I pointed out.

"Yeah true." He shrugged as I stood up.

"You're right, Maybe it's time to do something normal then." I chuckled. Then I got an idea.
"And I know the first normal thing we can do."

"And what would that be?" He questioned with an eyebrow raised as he over looked at me.

"We can go to a cafe and get coffee, or in your case a hot chocolate or something. Come on, I'll pay and you can get whatever you want." I said as took a few steps backwards and then turned to face forward to continue walking off in the direction of my favourite cafe.

"Well, if you're paying." Frank laughed as he quickly made his way by my side.

We walked on over to my favourite cafe, which wasn't too far from where we had been sitting.
When I got to the door of the cafe I stopped and opened it, letting frank walk in before me. I walked in after him and the strong smell of coffee beans hit me. I inhaled deeply.
Ahh yes.
The coffee shop is pretty much my home away from home.

Me and frank looked around and saw and empty table next to the window at the front of the shop.

"There?" I asked as I pointed to the table. He knifed and we both went to sit down.
I slid onto the cushy red fake leathered seat and leant back, looking at frank who sat opposite me.

It was wierd sitting down at a cafe with a person sitting opposite me. I was so used to coming here alone. I'd sit in the corner over there and drink my coffee as I scowled at the rest of humanity. I would got lost in observing everyone else for entertainment until I got bored and had already ordered six coffees in the past 30minutes and then I'd leave and go off for a walk by myself.
