Gerard's pov

There they where.
Police cars.
Police cars at the front of the house.

I was shocked. Dumbfounded. How did this happen? Did they find it? How did they find it?

I leant in, peering through the little branches, as I did so I accidentally snapped a twig, sending it jabbing into the palm of my hand.

Ow!
I shook my hand around a little bit and examined my palm. No really damage; So I lifted my gaze up and focused my attention on more interesting matters.

I was currently hiding behind some large hedges on the corner of the street watching the commotion from far back.

I knew for a fact that they had found the body. I was expecting something like this to happen but I wasn't expecting it to happen so soon.
Someone must've reported the old man as missing, and after noticing he has been missing for a while the police must've come to investigate.

I'm surprised they actually found the body. It kind of pissed me off if I'm truly honest. It took me so long to dig that god damn hole and bury him.

My muscles ached at the memory.

All that effort. And all for what? For some preppy ass cops to come and dig it all back up again. Undoing alllll my hard work.

I was seriously assuming it would be years before anyone found out it. Hmm, maybe I didn't do as good of a job as I thought...
But good on them for actually finding it. I'm impressed, confused on how they found him, but still impressed.

Two doctor looking men lifted out a body bag from the house. The body bag was a weird shape due to the fact that when I buried they guy I had squashed him awkwardly into the hole. His rotting corpse would now be forever in that shape as his body would've hardened in that position.

I smiled as they carted the bag into the back of a van where they would probably take him somewhere to get examined and tested to see how he died so they can try and get some clues on the whole case.

They won't be able to find anything now. It's too late.

I looked at my phone. It was currently only 5 am. They must've been here well before that. I wonder how long they've been searching for the old bastard.

The people drove the corpse away and the police cleared out leaving yellow tape wrapped around the house. I doubt they found any information.

The only problem is they can find information elsewhere.
And who was the last person to have apparently seen mr.ross.

Good old priest-in-training, Arthur.

"Fuck." I whispered under my breath in annoyance as I came to terms with the seriousness of the amount of crap I had just gotten myself into.

I didn't think the whole priest thing would lead to a problem as I didn't think that they would to find the body this soon.

But now we definitely have a problem don't we. Everyone in that god forsaken catholic school is going to report my 'Arthur' character to the police.

Arthur, the apparent friend of mr.ross. Arther, The guy who said that mr.Ross requested that he fills in for him. Arthur, The guy who was obviously the one who saw him last and apparently knows him.

I sighed as I leant my back against a tree and rubbed my eyes with my fingertips.

Okay gerard think. What do people know.

They haven't got any of my real personal information. I'm not that dumb. But they do know what I look like. Any one who went to franks catholic school will know what I look like. I'll be identified as that guy with the black scruffy hair and the eyeliner.
