We went to dinner and Clint had ginger ale and water because he couldn't keep anything down. I walk up to Zac and he notices my locket Steve gave me. "I like your locket" he says. Steve is trying to keep his cool and not freak out. "Here" Zac hands me a bracelet with Disney character charms. "I love it! Thanks Zac" I hug him. "It was nothing really" Zac said. "I'll be right back" I go to the bathroom. Steve walks up to Zac. Uh oh. "Zac?" Steve asks. "Yes sir. Are you Steve Rogers?" Zac asks. Things are heating up. Tony signals Steve to come back to the table. Steve ignores him and keeps talking to Zac. I walk out of the bathroom and back to the table. "See that girl over there" Steve points to me. "Do you know her?" Zac looks at me and then back at Steve. "Yes sir I do. That's Caitlyn Carter, I work with her back in New York." Zac responds. "I am her father and I love her very much. If you so much as touch her, I will come and-". "Steve." I interrupt. "Caitlyn, is he your dad?" Zac asked. I see the flames in Steves eyes turn into watery tears as if he expects me to say no. "Yes Zac, he is. And I'm his little girl." I say. "Okay, I bet he's a nice dad when he doesn't want to rip my head off" Zac said. "He is" I say. "I gotta go, bye Caitlyn, bye sir" Zac says as he runs off. I turn around to see the whole restaurant looking at me and Steve. People start clapping including Thor, Tony, Natasha, Bruce and Clint.
We head back to our rooms. Steve and I had the longest hug we ever had. As we were hugging I heard a whimper. "Steve?" I ask to see if he's crying. "I'm fine" Now as you all know, Steve is not the guy to cry. I mean he is a sensitive guy but not the crying type. I hear a knock on the door. Tony comes in and randomly hugs me. Then Bruce, then Thor, then Natasha (she gave me an extra long one for Clint). I am part of a family.
The hotel room phone rings. I answer it and didn't expect what I heard from the other line.
