My First Mission

I go to the pantry to get cereal for breakfast. Everyone's at the table eating breakfast, reading the paper and stuff. Fury walks in. "Agent Rogers, Agent Romanov and Agent Caitlyn Rogers, I have a mission for you three." We stand up. We are already dressed so we only need to figure out our mission and leave. "What is it sir?" Steve asked. "You three are going to the mall. There has been signs that Redskull is back." "That's not possible we destroyed him." Natasha says. "There have been signs, we don't know if it's true or not. That's the whole point of your mission." Fury says as he gets annoyed. "Let's just go!" I say dragging them out the door. "Okay..." Steve says. I know he doesn't want me coming along because it might be a dangerous mission.

We get to the mall, nothing wrong. Just people buying things, talking and eating at the food court. "We are going under cover," Natasha explains. A salesman guy walks up. "Are you a family?" he asks. "Uh...yeah we are a family" Steve says grabbing me and Natasha. "The name is Joe Peppo" he says shaking Steve and Natasha's hands. Something is up with this guy. "Do you guys need to redo your kitchen?" Joe asks. "No thank you" Natasha says moving to the side. He moves to the same side, blocking her. "We don't need to redo our kitchen. C'mon, sweetie" Steve gets me and Natasha and move to the opposite side. "Oh no you don't." The man pulls out a gun. He grabs me, now everyone in the mall is getting authorities. "Tell me all of SHIELD's secrets and the girl doesn't get hurt" he says. Everyone is in shock. I elbow him in the gut. He lets go of me and drops the gun. He starts punching Steve. Natasha then kicks him and keeps me away. He escapes Natasha's clutch and comes towards me. I kick him and knock him down. We grab his ID without anybody noticing. The police come and we are gone. We walk outside. "That was horrible," sighed Steve. I see Bella with a first aid  kit and her medical team. "Is everything okay, Caitlyn?" she asks. "Yeah, we are all fine," I respond nudging Natasha and Steve. "Good. We were so worried that you guys got hurt, or even killed," Bella said clamping her first aid kit. "Yep we're all fine" Steve says with his hand in my shoulder. "How do we even know that guy works for Hydra?" I ask. Natasha looked at his ID we snagged, it wasn't an ID at all! It was badge-button-thing that had the Hydra logo on it. "Yep" Steve says. I get a call on my phone. There are no more signs. Redskull is gone, I hope.

She could have gotten herself killed! Peggy's time may be coming soon, so all I have is Caitlyn. I can't loose her. I need her in my life. Her sparkling eyes give me hope. And that beautiful smile makes me proud. I love her and I am her guardian. I'm not a fan of that Zac kid though. Just seeing her face light up about the mission made me happy and worried at the same time.

We get back to my apartment and watch a movie. All of a sudden she gets up. "What's wrong?" I ask. "We missed that daddy daughter dance so I brought the dance here" she says. I get up and we dance. Cait puts in the Cupid Shuffle and I learned how to do the Cha Cha Slide. It was the best (and only) daddy daughter dance I've been to. I've never seen her so happy. We sit down and she puts something in my hand. I look and it's an American Flag dog tag. It says on the back For my dad, my captain, my hero. She gets up and hugs me. "I love it" I say. "I am always your little girl. And you are always my hero," she says. We are the perfect duo.
