I Hate Working

It wasn't exactly opening time so Mason and I were just waiting around. I grab a soda and sit on top of the counter. "Tennessee huh?" I ask. "Yeah, Nashville actually," he says with his arm behind his head. "Your pretty cute," I say instantly covering my mouth in regret. "Uh...thanks you're pretty cute too," he says with a bright red face. I then get a text from Zac:
Hey, Cait! I miss you sooo much! :( I just wanted to say that I love you and you mean the world to me. Uh...I guess that's it, have a nice day Cait!
Oh. My. God. I can't tell Zac about Mason. This sucks. "I think we are opening now," Mason says snapping me out of my Zac daze. "O-okay. Let's go," I say jumping off the counter. The work day went on and every now and then Mason would flash a smile at me. I would bush and go back to work.

---Closing Hour---
I finish up cleaning and sit on top of the counter. I casually text Zac and see how he's doing. "Where are you living?" Mason asks out of the blue. "I leave with my dad in an apartment," I say putting my phone down. "Well, I have a motor bike scooter thing and I was wondering if I could drive you home," he suggests blushing. My eyes widen, "Yeah, sure," I say slightly regretting saying yes. We head outside and I sit on his motor scooter thing.

I sit down on my bike, "Hold on." She wraps her arms around me hesitantly. I really like her but I'm not sure if she likes me too. I know she said I'm cute but I don't know if it was just to break the ice. I drive off. "Make a right," she says pointing to the right. I pull up to the apartment complex she told me to go to. "D-do you want to come up?" she asks,

WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING! ASKING HIM TO COME UP AND MEET STEVE!!! I HOPE HE SAYS NO. "No thank you, I gotta head home," he says taking off. OH THANK GOD!! I head up to my apartment. "Hi, dad," I say plopping on the couch. "How was work," he asks. "Good," I say. I go back to texting Zac.
